Default Feeling down :(

I have been trying to watch my calories.. and I seem to always fall apart on the weekends. I have not really eaten ALOT of calories. I've just not eaten the right kind of calories. I'm still hungry... and I want french fries (I won't be getting any because baby is in bed so I can't go get them.. i just WANT them so bad)

I have little snacks I could eat but I'm not full. and it's sad

I want a real meal. Like real food. Might have to wake baby up early and go get a nice big breakfast

How's everyone else's night?

Hey, I hear you... I'm not having such a great night either. DH ordered pizza and I had 3 slices... Then figured, what the heck? I'll make a "microwave brownie" too. I feel so sick and full and disappointed in myself now. Why can't I enjoy treats every so often without freaking out?? I know I'm not fat.. But I am so worried that if I can't stop bingeing I'm going to end up in a place I dont want to be. Maybe your sleeping baby is a blessing in disguise, and tomorrow morning you'll be glad you didn't go out for the fries... I hope things turn around for you! I know how miserable I am right now and I don't wish this feeling on anyone else! I hope you can get some good sleep tonight and feel better in the morning! *hugs*

If it's just the weekends, it honestly might not be a bad idea to start scheduling a cheat day or two on the weekend. I always have a cheat day on Friday or Saturday (sometime both) when I go out for dinner/drinks with friends. Dieting is hard, sometimes allowing yourself to give into temptation once or twice a week can make the other days a lot easier. And this way you can indulge without beating yourself up over it.

Is there anything wrong with eating the "wrong" kinds of calories once in a while though?

All week I tend to eat healthy calories and stay away from processed junk. During the weekend I "let go" a bit but still stay within my calorie count. Today for instance I had two slices of pizza which I planned for in advance and therefore they fit into my calorie count for the day. I enjoyed every second of those pizza slices!

I know how it is though. You've eaten your calories for the day and you still want more. Drink a big glass of water. Then another. See if you're still craving food after that.

I totally know where your coming from, now and again is grand but i always have the fear that ill just plain "stop" eating healthy and go back to my old ways full times... and gain.... so now and again is fine as long as you get back on track the next day...

Thanks everyone!! I agree I do need to start planning better...

I do always do this EVERY weekend. I end up going on a psyco binge.. mainly because hubby is home and we're eating out or always on the go... (this week /end he is going out of state so it should be okay ) I've also moved my weigh in days because every monday I want to just go cry cause I haven't seen ANY changes.

Jay- Starting tomorrow I'm keeping a weekly calorie count of my food. (and I will do the daily numbers for weight watchers too) so I can see How much food I'm actually eating a week. Because I have never just charted for a week I don't know how much to cut/where it cut it from. So I'm just gonna start tomorrow morning and right EVERY thing. Water, food, diet coke, EVERYTHING and then the following weekend I will look at my food and see what I can change
