Default If spot reduction was possible..

I did something silly today. Instead of taking before-after pictures, I filmed myself walking around to see how I look when I actually move (more to see where my fat jiggles that is). Does anybody else do that?! It's really more realistic than photos I guess..
I've found out that my problem area is from my navel to somewhere in the middle of my thighs. Everywhere else I'm actually muscular and thin.. All my remaining fat is on the sides of my thighs (inner&outter) and both sides of my lower belly (super muffin top). If I take a picture from the side I look thin. From the front.. not that much.. Anyone else got this?
If spot reduction was possible, where would you like to spot reduce the most?

Wow, the filming before/after is a good idea. I never thought of that before!

I can definitely relate to the spot reducing. My problem area is definitely my lower stomach area. It's great that I'm getting thin and muscular in a lot of places, it'd just be nice to see the belly go down too!

I carry my weight fairly evenly (which I'm grateful for). Most of it goes to my hips and thighs but I can't say I have one problem area and everything else is fine. I just want everything "reduced"

That is a really good idea. I've noticed in recent vacation photos I look okay, but when I watched the videos we made I could really see where my issues were. So great idea! And yeah I carry my weight pretty evenly, I get a lot of "There's no way you're 180 pounds" but people say that when I have a cute outfit on and I am perpetually sucking it in. When the clothes are off and I am in the mirror it's a whole different story.

My biggest areas I would like to shrink are definitely my stomach and thighs, this is where I carry most of it. Also I really want to slim down my arms, but Im not sure how to do that, does it come with general weight loss or do I need to target them somehow?

wow i love the filming idea! I just want to get rid of these dang hips if you know what i mean. I tried to buy some pants today - everything either fell off or wouldn't fit over my hips... so frustrating

Whatupton -You can't target your arms, it comes as you lose everywhere, but you can definitely change what you see when it eventually goes away. I would suggest lifting weights. Weights are good for everything, even if you can't see the abs and biceps etc that you're building yet, they will contribute to bone health, help prevent injuries and best of all, when the weight comes off, you'll be buff!

To the original question... hmm... probably my stomach and arms. I gain/lose fairly evenly so it's hard to just pick one spot but I think if I had to chose just one it would be my stomach because then I'd go from an almost hourglass to an actual hourglass. Ironically, it wouldn't make any of my clothes fit better, for that I'd really need to lose a lot in my bust.

Yes to this. My arms have always been pretty thick. However, weight lifting has helped a lot and even though they are currently 13.5" (until very recently they were still 15"), I have a lot of definition and you can definitely see muscle when I flex. I'd love to have them smaller but I feel comfortable wearing short sleeves because of the definition.

I love the idea of filming!!!

I would love to get rid of the fat over my navel because then I would be able to wear bikinis without being self-conscious.
