OK I still didn't fit in an official workout but I was out and about most of the weekend so I did get in lots of walking. Not the same but at least I didn't sit on my butt crafting all weekend. I also did not have any super bowl parties to go to so no bad eating for me! I am getting pretty excited for valentines day!! This should be a good week. The weather has been just beautiful and warm here the past couple days and I can't wait to get out running!

sun Yay for good eating and exercise and your daughter napping! All good things

Kay Busy weekends are good! Do you have Valentine's day plans?

~Alright. I'm at work. Just have to make it through the next 7 hours and 45 minutes, then an hour of Zumba..and then I can relax. I'm so tired! It's ridiculous! I'm also avoiding the scale til Friday. Got TOM and I always get "backed up" so I feel like I'm carrying some extra weight haha.

Rainbow- congrats on 3 years!

Sun- Thanks! My husband and I work opposite schedules so we only see each other at lunch time but he is changing his schedule around for Valentine's day. I am so excited to have him home for an evening. That is part of what sparked a fancy night on the town.

Hey everybody!

I have started back on this weight loss journey as of early Feb. This time the BF is joining me. We are challenging each other to lose 20lbs by May 1st.

My goal this month is to get from 181 to 172. I'm at 177 as of this morning. Almost TOM though. :P

Question: how much water do you drink on a daily basis?

Thanks!

kay sounds lovely! You will have so much fun!

beer Welcome. Sounds like you have some good support and are on your way. I try to drink about 2 liters a day. More if I can. It means alot of pee breaks

hey everyone! sounds like you all are doing so well! i'm jealous.

i ended up going to a superbowl party yesterday, drinking way more than i should, and bingeing. sigh. i think i need to spend time curbing my ED before I can focus on weight loss. it's kind of tricky, but if I can break the binge/purge cycle, i'd be loads better off than having three on plan days ruined by a day and a half of binging. i'm still considering what i want to do. i just know what what's been going on is unsustainable and needs to change.

sun Sounds good! Hope the doctor's stuff doesn't take too long, I hate waiting around at the doctor! I hope I make it through Zumba! My legs are sore after running yesterday!

Kay Thanks! For a while there I almost thought we wouldn't get there...but I don't see us breaking up in the next month haha. Guess I should start thinking of something nice to do!

beer Hey there! In answer to your water question - at the moment, not nearly enough! I usually aim for at least a litre a day because I'm terrible at doing it. But I don't think I've been getting much over half of that for a little while, not so great.

fatmac Sorry about the superbowl party/binging. Does the plan that you try to follow allow for things that aren't necessarily healthy? I'm sorry I can't remember what you do...but I agree with sorting out the binge/purge thing being a priority.

rainbow - thanks hun. I'm actually REALLY flexible with my plan. I try to incorporate the parts of all sorts of plans into one that works for me. I try to eat whole, natural foods and I avoid gluten and most processed foods. I like to eat a lot, so I try to fill up on vegetables. When I count calories, I'm typically between 1100-1650. I just get in these manic rages in which I want to eat EVERYTHING EVER PRODUCED BY NATURE OR MANKIND. It's ridiculous.

fatmac That sounds pretty frustrating... but you're doing really well so far. I guess the binges are just something you have to either somehow work into your plan...or try really hard to cut out? I dunno, I'm not good at advice!
