Ok need honest opinions. I was thinking of wearing this when the boat comes home... but seeing it in photograph (that my 6 year old took, badly).... I'm not sure if it is kind to my figure. My hips look way wider than I think they are (I hope???) Maybe the color is too light? I don't know. So maybe I should just wear the grey boots (because I love those) with the black dress in the above photo? What do you think?

waist belts are tricky because they have the effect of drawing attention to the smallness of your waist while making your hips look bigger...if you moved the belt a little lower on your waist would that be better?

I'm with Krampus, those belts can be tricky depending on where they sit. I like both outfits, I'd say where what you're most comfortable in and what makes you feel good. He's going to think you're beautiful either way, he loves you!
So since I don't have any updated weight pictures (I look the same!) I thought I would share another passion, which is nail design. Something I've been doing for like 2 months at the most. It's fun but I can't do other people yet, I'm scarred!

I think that dress looks hot! The belt works well with it because it has poofier sleeves at the shoulder, so putting a little accent on the hips results in a very hourglass-type figure.
Go with whatever makes you feel the sexiest/most confident. He'll love either one!
Thanks ladies! Do you think if I wore a thinner belt it would help? I'll try pushing the wide one down and see if that helps. I'll have to see if I can track down some better tights in my size. The last pair I bought here was a disaster. The crotch was at my knees .
You know, Val, at first I thought you should go with a bigger straight belt, but now that I look at it a skinny black straight belt might be the way to go. Looks hot regardless!
Val, I think it makes your hips look great! A small waist and full hips is an enviable figure. You look feminine, sexy and slammin'! I would go for a matte/soft black stocking with that, though!

You guys all look amazing! I find these pictures so inspiring. So I thought I'd take the plunge and share some of my own pictures! The one on the left was taken in January (not sure of my weight at the time, but probably 155+), and I just took the one on the right (I'm around 135 at the moment)! I know that they're not perfect before/current shots or anything, and I'm definitely sitting in a way that disguises some of my fat in the newer picture, but hopefully there's some sort of noticeable difference! Also, please ignore my messy living room. It always gets worse when I'm in the middle of cleaning it.
