Taco soup (got this from guamvixen)
ground beef (I used extra lean turkey)
onion
ranch style beans
can of sweet corn
stewed tomatoes
rotel spicy tomatoes
ranch dressing powder
pinto beans

Brown the beef (or turkey) with the onion. dump everything in the crock pot. low for 5-6 hours (I've made this twice in the last week, once just on stovetop for about an hour). It's really good.

I love my crock pot. Also, you don't only have to make soup!!! There are so many ideas out there! lol. sorry. Sometimes I swear I'm cheating on my BF with my crock pot.

ok so #1 I wish I had a crock pot again!!
and #2 my grandpa had a heart attack and died today...not a good day for me. Not that has anything to do with weightloss at ALL....but lots of emotions going through me right now.

My week can be summed up like this:
work
study
cookies
brownies

I did a check in today on the scale - same weight as Tuesday - what a relief. But I need to get back on track. I have a poker night today at work after training (and the drinks will be flowing). Will limit myself to 2-3 drinks and no sweets. I am bringing one of my classic 5 fruit and veggies smoothies to do my body good.

Becky - I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts are with you.

Sounds like everyone's week has been good.

I am finishing up my 5 days of exercise this week. I can't tell you guys the last time THAT happened. I know that the calorie counts on the machines aren't exact but lemme just say I love the arc trainer. 603 calories burnt in 45 minutes. I felt like a rock star. After a hard day my endorphins were going and it felt great! My legs are still super sore today! Today will be cardio + strength training on my own. Then the weekend will be rest! *YAY*

Question for you ladies: Do you guys find that if you haven't been as consistent about your work outs and then you start becoming more consistent that you see a small gain? I'm sure it's water retention and I did have some stuff high in sodium yesterday but it was a little depressing seeing a 2 lb gain from yesterday after I busted my a$$ at the gym yesterday.

I hope veryone has a GREAT weekend!

Good morning! Happy Friday!!

Feral - I think i remember hearing something about when you are sore, your muscles are kinda swelled with water (or something along those lines). So give it a few days and those 2 lbs should drop right back off.

My work has a suite at the sports arena here so DH, little one and I are going to the Carolina Hurricanes hockey game tonight!! (Free suite tickets and free VIP parking = i love my job!) Should be fun! We've got to buy little one a Canes shirt as soon as we get there; he, of course, cannot wear his shirt from last season.

Also, down to 159.8 this morning!! Woohoo!

My weight has been going up & down between 146-150 for the past couple of weeks. I was 150 on wednesday, 146 yesterday, and 147 today. The scale is just playing with my mind now

Jenn - I'm sure you're right it's just like "REALLLY?!?!?!?" Totally jealous you're going to the game tonight. Should be fun, although, as much as I love my Canes I don't think we're going to have the best season. We have a lot of young guys that we'll be bringing up from a farm team in Charlotte. Over the next few years it may be good for us but for now.... maybe I need to have a little more faith. I love my boys, but it breaks my heart to see them lose. Last season was horrible. They got their butts whooped 4-1 the other night. Womp WOMP!

Yes! This has happened to me before. I have also seen a significant loss after taking a day or 2 off at the gym Weird

Feral- This is totally happening to me right now! I was at 200.8 now I'm almost up to 204....I dont understand. Hoping by Monday it will all drop back off. I would like to get below 200 before the end of this month.
