I know, but for some reason...mentally...it just brings me down. Today though, of course, when I weighed that pound was gone, plus another .2 so I get what you're saying. I'm just trying to get past it because it's always been has made me fail. I get frustrated and say well what's the use and give up. I don't want to repeat those mistakes again, I want to move on and lose weight!

oops, I should have said I drive to the whole foods on Westheimer, or the one in Sugarland, just off 59. Sorry girl! But check out the HEB in Silverlake, lots of goodies!

I used to have some of that same mentality. It helped me a lot to start a graph of long-term trends (if you zoom out the daily fluctuations disappear! ) and also to think of healthy eating, exercise etc less as a means to an end (weight loss) but as a continual process, and something to stick to regardless of what I weigh. It's made it so much easier to keep going, and my sense of self-worth is much less linked to the number on the scale now.

Yeah, that's not too far either. I love living in this area! Going to the Guadalupe tomorrow with my family to float down the river. I have to refrain from drinking beer so it's going to be hard haha.

Well, I made a deal with my friend that we're not going to weigh except for once a week...so I'm going to TRY not to weigh and hope it goes down.
