I was 197 this morning! Woo!

Another pound loss was definitely what I needed to keep myself motivated.

After all my b*tching yesterday I saw 189.8 on the scale this morning. I am excited to see it but I am also not going to hold my breath. I probably still have a bit in the 190s to go.

I was down to 191.2 but this morning I was back to 192.6 I don't understand it, it has to be water retention because I've been kicking my butt exercising and I certainly did not eat 3500 extra calories yesterday. Oh well, time to up water... I can't wait until I'm out of the 190's! I'm soooo close.

I'm back to 196.5 today! Oh my god, I'm so excited!

I love that my weight loss is finally sticking and not yo-yoing all over the place like it has been in the beginning.

192 here. Tomorrow is my weigh-in day, and I make it a point to not weigh-in on another day. Keeping my fingers crossed that I'm down another 2, I've been down 2 consistently, for 3 straight weeks!!

I'm afraid to weigh this week ... I feel like I've been eating more than normal. And today we celebrated my b-day at work and went out to lunch I had a burger and fries ... and then CAKE ... blah. I feel gross now. Ate way too much.
Now I'm scared to see what damage I've done. I know it's only a few days ... mostly one major 'mess up' day which was today but still .. it's definitely going to slow things down I think for the week.

Kabaker - Congratulations! I hope to be joining a "Let's get out of the 180's group" very soon.

I was 192.2 again this morning, and happy about it. Thrilled I didn't go up! I almost always lose then gain a little then lose more then gain a little again. Lets me know I'm doing everything pretty darn well. I am down 1.8 pounds for the week and I have 1 more day of my week left. I'm of course hoping for another .2 loss to make it an even 2 for the week, but I'd gladly take more! Really hoping after next week I'll be out of the darn 190s! FOR GOOD!

192.0 today. I am a little discouraged b/c I don't seem to be losing weight - i was 192 a week ago! When is this going to melt off? I have been so diligent with eating and exercise...

cb1 - what's your diet like? Do you know how many calories you are eating?

Yes, I eat between 1200-1500 calories a day. I make everything from scratch. i try to eat protein at breakfast (usually eggs) and dinner (usually chicken, turkey, or beans)

here is a menu from one of my days this week:

Breakfast - 2 egg omelette with spinach, assorted veggies and tiny bit of cheese - 270 calories

Snack - handful of strawberries - about 30 calories

lunch - eggplant parm, made from scratch with freshly ground whole wheat flour, baked, covered with homemade tomato sauce that is packed with veggies - no cheese - about 350 calories

snack - apple and yogurt cup (about 180 calories)

dinner - asian lettuce wraps with ground turkey, eggplant, mushrooms, almonds, sauce (soy sauce, hoisin sauce, 1 tsp brown sugar) - wrapped in lettuce - 450 calories.

so far today i have had:

1 leftover eggplant and mushroom pizza square for breakfast. i'm not entirely sure on the calories but it was a small square and i made the crust from scratch with less oil than the recipe called for, and went super easy on the cheese. i'm guessing it was probably 300-350 calories.

snack - 2 ginger snap cookies (150 calories)

lunch - grilled boneless skinless chicken tenders with hot sauce and some ranch (250)

snack - apple and peanut butter (200)

broke down and had half a can of pepsi - 75 calories

dinner - grilled boneless skinless chicken tenders, a couple cups of boiled beets (i haven't done the research on the beets yet to know)
