Still 176.0
|
Yay, one more pound gone! 173lbs now... only 4 more to go!
|
Ladies-I have been in here since April-I have worked two jobs for the last three months and haven't had the time to post--but I am out of here!!!! 168.2 this morning!!! This is a huge victory for me. Despite still being overweight and weighing about 10lbs less in May of 2007 following grad school....169 is what I weighed when I got married in September of 2007!!! I am super thrilled :) After getting married in September, I put weight on fast-I remember weighing 182 in Dec of 2007 and then I gained even more (I had been up to 195 with 199 showing on the scale once)

I need help! I'm stalled at 178. I have been here for 3 days, been awesome at keeping my calories low, working out everyday. I'm glad I'm not going up but still, I would like to see some progress but for 3 days its been exactly 178.8.... not even a .1 difference??? Come on body!
I am clueless. Last time I was stuck at 180, I got a flu bug and didn't work out for 3 days (as well as barely ate) At the end of my sickness I was still 180, but resumed working out like normal and within 2 days was at 178. So not working out helped? I dont know! Any tips? I'm not expecting to magically wake up 2 lbs smaller, but I would go for 178.6, just to see some scale movement! And if it helps, I usually work out 6 days a week... worked out everyday since sunday (first day of feeling better). Edit: I just realized I probably should have posted this in the general weightloss forum :frypan: |
Hey Ashleigh! I know how frustrating a stall can be!
One thing that worked for me was the vary things up a bit. Like take 2 days off normal exercising (I'm not sure what you do, but for me what worked was just laying off my normal cardio and sticking to weights/strength/stretching for a couple days) and then come back strong and really push yourself for a day or two, go longer/faster/sweatier than you previously have. lol For some reason that has worked for me to shake me out of stalls (knock on wood!). And sometimes I have to do the same thing with food. I have to let myself indulge a little bit for a day or two and then when I come back my body will relinquish the water weight it gained during that time and a little extra it was holding onto. Good luck! |
Thanks for your tips! I appreciate any advice since I'm pretty much in this alone (no real support off this site ;)) I think I'm going to take today off, my gym buddy can't make it today, so I may just relax today too. I will see if it makes a differece- I like the idea of not working so much everyday, maybe I will try that!
I noticed your weight loss----amazing job! |
175.4 this morning. so .4 up but I'm not too worried about it, I had weight training yesterday and I'm SO sore today >.<

Blech...back up to 178 after a two week vacation and a surgery that left me too drained to diet. Got to revise my goals but hopefully I'll be comfortably in the 160s again before school opens up after labor day.

I have been stuck in the 170's for months now!! I just started a different work out at the gym and doing some classes and started a new nutrition plan. I did one physical training session with someone at my gym and she is very encouraging and says I should start seeing results within a week even if it's just inches. I'm hoping I can get some results I want out of the 170's!!
Weigh in this morning was 171.4 |
171.4! This is getting ridiculous!
