I second trying out pzi jeans. I also like banana republic. I'm a mom but I don't wear "mom" jeans. Lol
If your looking for cheaper stuff go with oldnavy or gap.

I've gone up and down with my size so many times over the years, and I love Old Navy jeans. they are inexpensive and perfect to tide you over in between sizes.

When I've been at my ideal weight I like Express and Banana Republic. I don't think Banana is for older people at all - they have really nice jeans (esp if you need ones that are work appropriate). I've been shopping there - mainly for work - since I was like 22 or something.
