Don't worry nutrition junkie, it could be anything. Theres no way you gained 8 pounds in 5 days! Unless you ate 28,000 more calories than you should have lol

I saw a 210 today!!!!

Congratulations, Aliquot!!!

210.5 today. 1.1 pound gained over the weekend. That's very possible... Was so seriously busy that I ate HORRIBLY. TOM is about to start, though, and I'm hoping some of it may just be water weight.

Oh my goodness, Aliquot, congratulations! I am so excited to be booting you out of here right now. Take me with you?!

Sayang87 and Gigantosaurus - you're so close, you're basically there. Tomorrow could be the day! You can do it!

Zanheltangia - hurry up and get in here, everyone's rushing out so quickly! You know you wannnnna.

P.S. though, Gigantosaurus, what the heck are you going to do about your name when you are on your way to being so much smaller? Or do you just love dinosaurs? I can't help but ask!

There's so much excitement going on I almost forgot to update about me.

I'm at 216 today, and I'm so grumpy about it. I was at 214 over the weekend, and that was my goal for Monday (my general goal is 2 pounds a week) but then I was 215 yesterday and 216 today. I don't know what's up because I've been eating so well. I really feel like this weight should be coming off a teeny bit faster - I was always told that the start of weightloss is the easiest - but I only lost 8 pounds my first month. Still, I was content because 2 pounds a week is healthy. I'm jus tnot happy about a loss-less week so early on. I am trying not to get discouraged - I've never come this far before.

I guess my little plan to be out of 210s by the end of May objective is all but impossible.

Sorry for all the doom and gloom, and thanks for letting me vent. I just want this so much.

Scatter, are you drinking enough water? Could be water retention.

I love dinosaurs and was feeling very "gigantic" when I made the name. One day I'll be a "tinysaurus" though!

I agree with sgregg, your gain could be from water retention. My losses have been fairly slow although I'm early into weight loss, too. Maybe we're just slow starters?

Don't give up, Scatter! Like you said, you've never come this far before and that's a victory in itself. You just may hit your 209 goal before the month is over, and if you don't, you'll get there soon before long. Just keep swimmin'.

Thank you both for the support, I need it so much right now.

Believe it or not I actually drink 3.5 litres of water a day. I drink 5 measured bottles at 710mL each. I am also eating between 1200-1600 calories every day.

This sounds crazy but I am partly convinced that I can't lose any weight at all without exercise. I wish I could, but I don't think I can. I only lose when I exercise 5 times a week, and it's slow. I think my metabolism is just super lazy, haha.

OnYourWayToTinysaurus (hehe) - it's nice to know I'm not the only one. Slow and steady wins the race!

Me too!!! I don't know how I'm losing right now since I haven't been exercising.

As of this morning, I'm at 212.2!! I am so close I can feel it!!!!!
