Default Too much this weekend

I went to a retreat this weekend. I knew (all week I knew!) that I should pack appropriate snacks and limit the food I ate that was provided. You have to eat some of their meal time food, which of course didn't even taste good, but I should have limited myself. I think I just took advantage of the fact that I couldn't know how many calories were in everything, so I'll just keep eating. And then when I'd lost track of what I'd eaten, I decided I could just keep snacking. And then today, when I got home, I was still in that frame of thought, so I just keep on eating! I was up two pounds when I stepped on the scale this afternoon.
That was silly, I can't believe I did that. This week I will work out every day after work and keep my calories at 1300 where they're supposed to be. I can't seem to make my weight go down no matter what I do anyway, but I certainly can stop it from going up!
I'm off to do my crunches, squats and pushups - with a cup of tea instead of wine. Thanks for letting me 'confess'.

At least you stopped! I think I probably would have thought ah I've f***** up now may as well keep eating. But you stopped. And you're going to work out to make up for it! Could be a lot worse.

Like the other lady said, at least you stopped. I'm in the same situation I had a funeral to do to this weekend and there was SO MUCH FOOD! And now I'm up two pounds. But look at the bright side, it is ONLY two pounds and you're back in the swing of things today.

Agreed - it's only 2 lbs, they'll be gone in no time
