Cool The tuna says, "NO!"

Haha... so this is just a funny story that you might relate to...

It is that crash week before finals, when all the presentations and research papers are due. You know that week. We all hate that week.

So the stress was leading me to feel kind of bingey. I had already had lunch, wasn't really hungry, and was opening up the cupboards. I have some treats on the top shelf that I rarely get into myself, but keep for some of the kids I work with when I have them over here at my place, and I was reaching for it.

Then BAM!!! A can of tuna flies out of the cupboard and lands heavily on the counter. It kind of snapped me out of it and I walked away and got a glass of water.

Anybody else ever have funny things happen that kind of startle you back on track?

That's awesome! Glad you were able to avoid it landing on your head too.

Wouldn't it be great if food was that proactive in making sure you stick to your guns? Although I have encountered a bag or two in my life that made it extra difficult to access the chips or cookies inside.

I'll have to keep a can of tuna in every cupboard now. it'll be my security fish.

Hehe... security fish.

And it almost did bonk me on the head! I had to jump back very quickly! Blessed agility! I just hope the canned salmon keeps it's place. That can is like 3 times bigger and it could really hurt I think.

HAHAHAHHAH I think we've all had that happen before. I remember one time I had been staring at the chocolate in the jar I have on my desk all day on and off. I finally was going to give into temptation and when I pulled the candy out I realized it was all dark chocolate....

Dark chocolate makes me sick.

I took that as a big THE UNIVERSE SAYS NO!

lol- been there before, but it was ice cream. When I opened the freezer, the bag of ice tumbled out over my feet, and since it was open, managed to dump half of its contents across my kitchen floor. Needless to say, the clean up made me too annoyed to think about ice cream after that. Gotta love when the universe is on your side though, even when it seems like it's against you.
