My friend tried it. Word of advice- make sure you don't eat a fatty meal after taking it. She did this when she first started and had the worst runs ever. my theory is it scares you into eating healthy lol

You can find info about alli if you write "alli" on the search tab. I can not post a link because I'm new but you will find all the info about it on the Does it work forum.

i tried it only for a short period a couple years ago. it will give you the runs if you eat fatty foods. but i found the worst issue to be nasty farts, but this is expected with it. be careful it could even stain your pants . i didn't really keep with it enough to really notice anything. i wasn't even working out regularly or paying enough attention to my diet.

it did scare me away from eating fatty foods, lol.

I've been on it since last Tuesday...So far I'm happy with it, I don't know how much additional weight its made me lose since I started it since I also amped up my diet/exercise routine. I have yet to experience the *really* nasty treatment effects (ie crapping your pants, running to the toilet or else) but I have had some oily stools which can be normal. I've been under the recommended fat g per meal and I still experience them, however I don't really view them as a bad thing...it lets me know that the alli is doing its job.

I'm not going to try it. I was at my endocrinologist's office (my doc is harping on me to lose weight) and my mom was harping on me to try Alli, even saying she'd buy it for me, and I kept saying no, for reasons given above, and so she asked my doctor's assistant what he thought and he said that it gives you really bad diarrhea (and considering i'm hypo- and I already have digestive issues) that shut my mom up.

So if you have tummy problems, IBS, or constipation, or just ickiness, I wouldn't take it. It works in your digestive tract as a fat blocker.
