fashinjunkie09 you're doing AWESOME in this challenge! You'll kick those last few pounds' butts in no time, I'm sure.
stargzr congrats on reaching your original goal!! That in itself is a huge accomplishment
I'm doing well so far this week, have resisted a few temptations, discovered some new healthy recipes, and I'm staying consistant with exercise for once. I'll wait to update my weight on here until my official weigh in on Thursday though
HOLY CRAP. I lost 5 pounds since last weigh-in Sunday (for new BL challenge). 10 pounds by March 20 seems way attainable now! Good week (except for Team USA loss).
-- i wont be changing my ticker until Tuesday most likely (official WI) but i'll still write the changes on here when i see them! did VERY well today and stayed on track school starts on Tuesday (byebye Olympics!) so it'll be about 4-5 days out of the 7 I'll be NOT seeing my boyfriend or his mom (she keeps trying to feed me!) so I hope to do a lot better with staying on track
-- also, i didn't meet my end of February mini goal, but I was only 1 pound off, so i'm still happy
maenad: try adding a few hundred calories more for a day or two then go back? i tried that and finally got the scale moving again! (advice came from all the wonderful people on this site)
fashinjunkie: so jealous of your loss! you're doing great
jess: congrats on the 5lb loss! and... good game, but as a fellow Canadian, i must say, we played our OWN game very well
This is a little frustrating, but I'm going to stay optimistic. I'm revising my goal though, since it's unlikely I can still make it to 169 by the 20th. I'm shooting for something a bit more realistic in the time left.
Everyone is doing so well!! I think almost all of us seem very in reach of our goals!! Keep it up ladies!
I'm down to 206. Unfortunately I was unofficially down to 204 Friday. Apparently I wasn't so good over the weekend. But that's still two down from last week!!
I'm late but I want to join this challenge bc March 21 is the 1 year anniversary of the start of this journey for me, and I want to update my goal pics and have them be the best they can be. I don't have a specific number in mind bc I bounce around so much day to day that it's a bit futile to pick a number, but when I get back in my goal bikini for the pic, I really want to see a difference from last October, when I hit goal.
Hi ladies, it looks like everyone is doing really great!
I am a little bummed because I am up like 1.2 lbs up on the scale this morning. I have been OP with my food and just started working out again last night (after about 3 weeks with no work out), so I'm hoping maybe it's just my muscles retaining water, and that once my body gets used to my work outs again that it will go away. We shall see...
fashinjunkie09, I started working out, actually doing cardio, and I noticed a jump in weight also. If your muscles are sore, they have lactic acid in them, that will cause water retention. I was back on track this week

learned in a biology class once, that lactic acid buildup is from a good workout (you were right on that part) and one way to get rid of it is to stretch before AND AFTER! real good though. that way you can get to the gym again the next day with hardly any sore muscles (lactic acid buildup causes sore muscles)
hence why hockey players go workout with a bit of cardio and stretching after a long game... so they can get right back into it the next day!
