I remember ALL of you! you guys were such an inspiration when i was first starting. And it's also a little comforting to know I'm not the only one who's struggled a bit.
I'm so glad to see everyone back. And it makes me excited to keep pushing forward. Would you guys mind if I join this accountability thread?
I thought it might help if I posted my current plan and details so that everyone knows where I am. A lot has changed in the last few months that I think is important to my WL.
1. I got an elliptical for Christmas from my hubby! It stays is my living room and I use it every other day. I bought him a punching bag which hangs in the basement.
2 My workouts are planned out through March. 5/week with at least 20 minutes of cardio followed by punching bag, hand wegihts and a push up program.
3. I have my workout page set as my computer background. No excuses for not working out!
4. I have a 5 page Publisher document that keeps me on track. It has my workouts and weigh ins in calendar form. (Jan- March), a page for Saturday journal entries, and a page for rewards that includes my measurement chart (taken on Sat.).
5. My eating plan includes foods that are the least amount processed. I woulds say that we eat about 80% organic.
Yes, I may be overdoing the planning a little bit. But for me, it is what I need to stay OP. I had a few *aha* moments along the way...
a) I really had to give up the all or nothing mentality. I was sabotaging myself.
b) I am doing this for myself. Meaning, if I have to let something else go to get my workouts in, then, that's what has to happen. This also means that if hubby gives up, fine.... I am not. I will no longer let the people around me dictate what I do as far was my WL is goes.
So, that's where I am at! The scale has been taunting me with 255.4 for the last 3 weeks.... but I have lost 3 inches from my body!
To everyone else: Thanks for the welcome back! I so needed that.
I'm still trying to find my way back to the determination I use to have. I can't find it just yet. I did start something this week. I'm trying to go without meat. I've gone all week which is really good for me. I haven't exercised at all this week, trying to get motivated. I have eaten better this week and lost a pound.
I like so idea of having an accountability thread. I do so much better that way besides I really like knowing how you all are doing!
So I'm eating my homemade lentil soup. It's so good. But today has been so hard! I'm wanting meat and sweets really bad.... it doesn't help that I work at a crisis residential facility with a full blown kitchen with lots and lots of food! grrr...
HANG IN THERE!!!! You and I both know the cravings will go away within a couple of days.... Sugar is the worst!!!!! But it's also one of the worst things FOR you....
so do we wanna keep this thread going or start a new one with some catchy name?
btw, my trainer is going out of town for a week so she wants us to come everyday until she leaves...looks like im 30 day shredding after all and i started friday lol.
i cant wait to see my changes by feb 8th.

Hi Heather! Ive been on this site for like 3 years and I dont know how many times Ive fallen off the wagon, lol. Two kids later and I think Ive lost a total of 10lbs, lol. But the great thing is that you are still trying and you havent given up! You get right back on that horse and try again! I am also in the California Bay Area, Hayward to be exact. Any places you like to go for exercise around here? I love the marina, but with all the rain I havent been there for a few days, its a great track though!
Hey Laura ;D I am in Hayward too. You and I are close in weigh/goal... I tried to find a place to send you a pm on this site... but I can't find it! LOL
