Scatterheart, I'm glad you're here! These threads can help ALOT with accountablility. As far as your goal, in my opinion, it's possible! Since you're just starting, its likely that you'll have a big rush of weight come off at first. There's still 5 weeks until Vday, and even if you lose 2 lbs a week that's still 10 lbs! But yeah, I think if you work hard you'll be able to get there ! That's just my opinion anyway.

And Matilda, stay strong girl, you WILL get there!!

Welcome Scatterheart! We are glad you found us! I hope you find lots of encouragement and motivation here. I know I have! Like kuhrisuh said, you will definitely be able to take off at least 10 lbs by Valentine's and probably more! Go for it!

Matilda - From your stats, it looks like you have done great so far! Keep it up and you will be there before you know it!

Well everyone, I weighed in this morning at 201! I lost the couple of pounds I put on over the holidays and then some!! I can't tell you how relieved I felt when I saw that number. I even stepped back on the scale 2 more times to make sure it was right. You guys have definitely kept me motivated! Let's keep it up!

AHHH!! I MADE IT!!!

199.0 EXACTLY! I can't believe I'm actually out of the 200s... I wish I could have stayed with all of you longer... but I'm happy to be on the last half of my journey!!! This is so exciting/weird feeling... THANK YOU ALL so much for your support. Each time I wanted to eat something "bad" this weekend I told myself that I didn't want to have to say that I gained again, and I thought of how badly I wanted to LEAVE the 200s FOREVER.


I KNOW you can all make it & I'll be here in ONEDERLAND waiting for you!!! (that felt so good to type)




Okay, I think I'm done.

Okay, I'm going to join this thread.

I need an extra push to get out of the 200's too. I always told myself in highschool that once I get over 200 that I'm going on a diet...well, I got over 200 and then some. Now, I'm on the upper half of my 20's and I'm STILL over 200. So, gotta get this rolling! And Carissa, I love your videos too. Way to go!
