Platform - I can completely relate... since I am broke right now I am knitting all my families presents. I have a few hats and a few scarves (I dislike knitting scarves, but that's what my mom wanted!) to finish and feel like I am going to run out of time!

I am also taking the GRE the day after xmas and literally just started studying tonight.... I really think I may have screwed the pooch on that one!

But I am hoping in all the holiday craziness maybe I will be too distracted to sit on my *** and eat and I can lose a few lbs!

Stella & Haley - LOL I wish, I could use the money :P

Skinny - Aww that sounds exciting!

Foresmewithlove - I hate scarves too lol, I get bored knitting them! When my family members ask for scarves I always tell them "No, you want a neck cowl instead. It's a scarf, but much shorter!"

College - Thanks!

I know I have my other black dress for the holidays, but this one was $25 from Charlotte Russe - how could I resist?! So I bought this dress today hahaha!

Pumpkin- welcome welcome welcome. this forum is a gem. I use it to celebrate my most successful moments and wallow in sorrow in those not-so-successful moments

Ducky - hello!

Mary
- I like knitting too. I made my mom a scarf last christmas... thats about the extent of my talents tho. A long rectangle hehehe. PS I'm agreeing with Haley and Stella... you're droppin the pounds like hot potatoes. PPS - CUTE DRESS!! As always... you have great fashion sense

Redliss - congrats. unexpected losses are the best!

- - -

Ugh i feel kinda gross. i'm on a snowboarding trip, and everyone is watching football. There is no healthy food!!! We had pizza for dinner. I guess this is just a test for me. After this week, will I be able to jump back onto the wagon!?? I hope so. Even though it will be the week of christmas?? I still hope so. This sucks because I didn't fall off the wagon, its like I was pulled off. lol. SILVER LINING? Snowboarding is a major calorie burner. I'm exhausted!!

Hello back everyone.

So today i realized that my last final of the year is not thursday, like I had thought...but Wednesday. Meaning I have three Shakespeare plays to read tomorrow. I dislike this this...a lot a lot.

Platformnine-- I want that dress. Like woah.

You and me both foresmewith love. Holidays always seem so crazy. Especially with school ending and then coming home from exam stress to mega Holiday stuff.
Its so cool that you all can knit. That seems so hard. I could never do that. I wish I could though. Knitted stuff comes out so pretty and its special because its home made.
Ugh, today was not a good eating day. Yes, I had the loss but I also overate and my mouth kind of got me in trouble. I love my family but I often feel like I always am messing up when I'm with them. I wish I could show them how much I love them but I just always mess it up. IDK. Anyways, tomorrow will be better.

@platform: wow that's a lovely dress. Blue and black, my favorite colors <3

@air81: no it's not I completely understand that feeling. Especially when I work out at late night or early morning in winter >"<

Skinnywish - I love love LOVE Vancouver!!!! I get to go there in 64 days for the olympics I cannot wait!

For some reason, I keep thinking that it's a day later than it actually is. I think I'm more excited for Christmas break than some of my students are. I get to go down south and see my nieces!! I can't wait. I just want it to be next Wednesday already!

Stella- Do not go look up the calories in a 14 oz steak! Just forget about it and move on

Mary- LOVE the dress! Charlotte Russe has some really cute dresses, though the quality isn't so great sometimes. I bet that looks great on you

Icon
- glad your car wasn't too expensive...I have some weird warning lights on in mine so it's going to the garage asap. It's an exercise in futility to wash a car in the winter in VT tho.

smisen- yay another ringer! This choir I'm in now is kind of more of a church choir, tho we don't actually ring in services; I used to arrange music in my high school choir, like Bohemian Rhapsody and Rusted Root, and I really miss being able to have that kind of artistic license.

Liss- A belated congrats on the mini goal--you look really fantastic.

Ducky- have fun with the Shakespeare--at least it's not three organic chemistry textbooks or something. And College Girl, good luck to you too!

Jazz- Snowboarding is definitely a workout! That sounds like a lot of fun

Today is our last day of warmish weather around here--the next 4 days will all be in the single digits. The concert was pretty good last night; we didn't fall apart and my bf made it in time. It was so good to have him back!1 Of course now he's already left to go back to NY where he lives, but I'll see him again on Thursday and all weekend, and at least now we can talk on the phone

Good Morning... Today I'm starting over my eating and lack of exercise the past few days have been HORRIBLE... I'm done complaining except for the scale this morning said I gained 7 pounds... I however know that it's not completely realistic... I'm sticking with sundays weight which means I'm only 30 pounds from onderland and gosh I cant freaking wait

Forest I'm so happy he is home and safe and that you can now talk to him again

Stella...it happens... just think of it as lots of extra protein

Mary...You always find such cute things... you're definitely coming to MD for a shopping extravaganza

Icon... Thats sooo good about your car...we have a family friend who ALWAYS gives my sister and I good deals because were young...the one time age works to your advantage

Jazz... I honestly havent had pizza in months... It was calling my name

College... I have spent so much money on myself its ridiculous...but I finished my Christmas shopping sooo I figured it was ok

Foresme... Good luck with those GRE's I keep putting them off... I guess I'm never going to Grad School...

Anyone else I forgot sooo sorry but you ladies are chatty... and I'm extremely jealous of any of you that can knit

A lot of extra protein AND SALT. 185.2 today. I am sooooo mad. Today is our holiday potluck lunch, so that's going to be fun, but I'm going to have a nice, long work out tonight.

I'm also considering finding a local kick boxing class around here. I really like the Wii Boxing, but I feel like I could do something a little more strenuous.

Good luck to all of you with finals and end of year grading

Jess - I hate when that happens! But don't sweat it, snowboarding burns soooo many calories so I'm sure you'll be fine! I bet you come home to a loss! And thanks about the dress, I'm excited for it! What sucks is that my size is all wonky because bust-wise I'm a size 8 (from Charlotte Russe), hips-wise I'm a 10, and waist-wise (stubborn waist!) I'm a 13/14 arg! Hopefully this is a dress that will be forgiving if I have to have it taken in later in the year :3

Ducky - Tell me about it, finals are just killing me! The dress is affordable, buy it!

Icon - I'm glad your car is fixed! My alternator went in the summer (seriously 1 day after the warranty was up on it, since I'd gotten it replaced the year before as well) and so did my battery :| Not fun.

Forest - That's why it's so cheap lol! The quality gets to me sometimes, but I take good care of things I get from there - my CR clothes only get hung in the closet and get washed with extra care lol. Yay for your bf being home!

Haley - Lol yes, I'm excited for this MD shopping trip The important thing is that you always get back on the wagon - you've lost 61lbs already and that is AMAZING! Don't give up yet, you're close to Onederland and you can make it!

Stella - Do it! Kickboxing is awesome and really fun and always gets my frustrations out! I think ExerciseTV still has a kickboxing workout if you can't find a class. Or there's always TaeBo lol!
