Ahh, had to chime in real quick! Just weighed again...saw 153.8! Which put me past a mini-goal of 30 total lbs lost! Today isn't my "official" weigh day, but I went ahead and changed my stuff...I weighed myself after I've already ate/drank through the day, so I'm pretty sure it's legit (probably would've been even lower 1st thing this morning)...plus I'm excited! haha! :D

I've weighed myself a few consecutive days in a row and the consensus is in.
152 lbs. :halfempty I'm thinking the 150 I saw was partially due to the oncoming TOM. It's also completely possible that those extra few pounds have something to do with me adding more strength training to my workouts. Anyways, I've decided not to sweat the numbers, right now I'm more focused on eating clean and staying active! :D |
Hi ladies!!!! I am super excited to report that I hit my first mini goal of -15lbs today!! :D I am officially, smack-dab in the middle of the 150s, sooo here I am. Good luck to all, let's get to those 140s!! :carrot:

Amber, I hope it happens but I'm not sure it will. I've been stuck for so long. Tonight I'm going to convince my younger sister to go for a 5 mile walk with me. Nothing else has worked and it's mostly uphill so maybe it'll be the boost I need.

So excited :) KurLEQ 5 miles is alot I think the most I have ever done when I was healthy and fit was 4. That will really shake things up :) Well I am still at 159. Tomorrow is my weigh in day and I don't think I am going to make my usual 1 lb a week. Kind of a bummer :( I have been eating right and working out. We shall see. I yelled at the scale today lol. Hope you all are having a great weekend. |
Blech, I'm having a fat day. I just feel and look fat. Does that ever happen to anybody? Last night I was checking myself out in the mirror and thought I looked pretty good. Today, for some reason, I just feel like a shapeless blob.
I can't wait until this strength training starts showing. I'm tired of being a slightly smaller, yet exact same, version of the old me. |

I was eating 1550 calories and my weight loss was SO slow... so I bumped it down to 1400 calories... and upped my exercising to about 100 calories a day (not much, but better than nothing). So my net total is 1300... Do you guys think 1300 is enough for our height? Furthermore, I just JUMPED from 1550 to 1300 rather than phased to it slowly.... is my body going to hate me? :^: |
Sun, I am a walker by nature. The town I grew up in is .1 mile. We don't have our own high school and use Harrison (10 times our size at an amazing 1 mile square) for high school. There isn't any school bus service . When I was in high school, there wasn't a cafeteria so everyone went home for lunch. I was walking almost 3 miles a day, 5 days a week and because the town has little in the form of entertainment we kids would just 'walk around' every night. The movie theater is 5 miles away and we'd walk there and back! Lol! The route I walk is halfway to the movie theater and back. During the spring and summer I do it at least 3 times a week but the winter kills me. Especially this winter with all the snow! In addition to that, I nanny my cousin's girls and they live a mile away. I walk there and back four times a week. See lol walker by nature!!

Well, I weighed in at 149.7 this morning. And that was after a whole sub sandwich, a 400cal chocolate chip cookie, half a bag of chips, and two beers yesterday. It's just a peek in the 140's, but I won't weigh in again until Thursday, so I'm assuming that I'll drop another quarter of a pound or so (I hate weighing twice a week...I like big numbers, lol).
Sooo....I am (hopefully) done in the 150's. I enjoyed my stay here, and I can't wait to see everyone in the 140's thread! |

KurLEQ hahaha you weren't joking! You ARE a walker :) Very healthy though. I used to walk 4 miles daily where I lived on the farm ( back before my baby :) AND marriage!) I miss being that fit. Right now I am healthy and in shape as far as stamina and strength but I feel like its taking forever to melt off the fat. Granted I am a far away from what I was but I am still no where near being slim again. Iknow I Know I am complaining...Sorry! :P

Sun--I haven't seen the 140s since before I got pregnant with my oldest son...so that was about 5 years ago. I might cry when I see it! :D Kurri--You CAN do it!!! Have you tried adding other types of exercise besides walking? Maybe a little strength training after your walks?? I have found that when I do the same exercises for a while, my weight loss eventually starts to slow down and nearly stop. As soon as I change my routine it starts to come off again. Or maybe try cycling your calories for a week or so. You gotta stay positive too!! I notice that EVERY time I get on the scale thinking in my head that I didn't lose, I never do! I was being negative nancy the whole time I was stuck at 159! |

I weigh 150.6!! :D I'm so happy to have ditched those mysterious 2 lbs. Hopefully for good! |
