Bad weekend for my diet (but great for my social life; funny how that works!): Went out with new teachers and did okay at first, then went overboard on the drinking and midnight snacks. Spent the next day hungover and wanting to snack on everything.

Weight this morning was 118.5lbs, a 2lb jump! I know it can't be "fat," but still discouraging. Back on track today...jumping on the treadmill right now. Going running with a friend tomorrow!

I reached 172.8 today. I can almost taste 171 and I'm dying to get into the 160s. OMG! So excited!

Jelbb: I really love your new avatar pic! You look like a model!

WormwoodDoll: You look amazing. 14s are awesome! I've been waiting to throw out my jeans. I think they're 14s but they are very very loose on me now, which is exciting. But the stomach is still a little tight. They were made weird. So, I can't wait to throw them away and go shopping. But I'm afraid I won't fit into anything below that size. Ugh. I need to just go and see.

AngelsDust- so weird that we weighed in at the same exact weight today! I'm still in 16's though so I'm jealous

So yes i weighed in at 172.8 this morning! I have had a really good week. I'm so super excited to get into the 160's though. I haven't been that low since high school!!

Hey, don't let the 2 lb jump get to you. You'll ditch it again in no time!

Angel:
Thanks honey!!! I have no problem at all taking pics that make me LOOK pretty... too bad I look nothing like that! It's probably cause I know how to work my angles to give myself a jaw line that I don't actually have, and a double-chin-free chin, hahaha. Gives me hope for the future tho... maybe weight loss will be the key to giving me that jawline, and I'll really look like my pics! For now... I've got the myspace angles.
Your pic looks super adorable too, btw!

kswood:
Way to go, loss-wise! And wow, you're SO close to the 160s, and that's amazing! I love seeing people get down to those, "Omigod, I haven't seen this weight since.........!!!!!" weights. I'm at one of those right now, too! Eeee!!!
My high school weight is about 140-141, so...5-6 lbs to go, and I'll be at that weight I haven't seen since high school toooooo!!!!

Congrats all on losses!

192.6 this morning.

Not bad considering I had an off plan weekend, but not terribly off plan. My man's parents can't understand the concept that I am trying to lose weight and I don't want to gain 384034lbs just being there for two days. They make me feel awkward for wanting to eat places that offer low-cal options or if I don't want to go at all./

Augh, I'm sorry that you're struggling with that. I'm dealing with much more subtle judgments, thankfully, but judgment nonetheless.
I ate a big cup full of rice krispies the other night before my mother called to invite me out to dinner with the family. At dinner, I got chicken fingers that came with a baked potato, AND rice, and coleslaw. I shoveled the coleslaw onto my mom's plate, since I don't like the stuff... and then when my uncle complained about them not giving him enough rice, I shoveled my rice onto his plate. It was plain white rice without anything on it anyhow... and I wasn't that hungry after my big baked potato, and a ton of chicken, AND the cereal I'd eaten before I left the house.
But wouldn't you know, combined with my weight-loss efforts, my family suddenly got all, "Gee, Jess, you're not eating a lot, what's up with that---" (AKA., "Holy anorexia, Jessica, you gonna starve yourself to death?")
Then the other night, I only ate half of my giant heaping plate of pasta and vegetables, then was full. I got the same sort of, "What, you don't like it?" *raised eyebrow* kind of response from my family. Really, my mother's office is right next to the kitchen. She of all people should know that I stuff myself full of frozen mango, and rye crackers with light cream cheese, and cereal all day long.... on TOP of meal times...

Does your man have any sisters? Chances are his family isn't used to accommodating weight-loss efforts if they've only got boys, or even just girls who aren't interested in losing weight, or don't need to. I bet they just don't understand at all. So frustrating for you. Sorry they make you feel awkward about it. Have you talked to them about working on losing weight?

Jelbb, they have an older daughter who did nutrisystem and lost a lot of weight. But they love eating out all of the time. And they love going to grab pizza and things of that sort. His dad is a huge fan of fast food which I refuse to touch. Their house is filled with tons of snacking stuff. It drives me crazy, honestly. And he will tell them I am trying to watch my calories, etc. They don't seem too interested, I guess, since they're not trying to lose weight? Oh, and IF I do decide to eat something not-so-good for me, his dad will say "OH BUT THAT'S NOT LOW CALORIE". It can be so frustrating sometimes.

ooo back to 146 for me. But how?? No idea. Must be the run yesterday, because I ate ALL DAY long. Although it was all healthy, it was around my maintenance calories.
Yay for running?

Wormwood:
Oh, jesus. That's like one of my best friends and money. I'll decide not to do some things because I know they'll cost me too much money in gas, and eating/drinking-out money... then, when I DO spend any money, she raises a judgmental eyebrow and says, "Oh, but I thought you were BROKE."
I'd probably kick your man's dad in the shin really hard if he pulled that crap with me, lol. (Well, probably not, because I'm not all that violent, but I'd WANT to. ) YOU get to decide when you treat yourself, and when to eat perfectly, and they shouldn't be pushing fast food on you. You're not STOPPING them from getting it, so there shouldn't be a problem with you passing on it, or eating something else. Oh well. Just do your best with them around I suppose... and when they're stressing you out... picture me there, because I'd be full of snotty, "Mind-your-own-damned-business" type-comments that are completely inappropriate to say to a future-in-law.

Aneleh:
Yay for runs! Congrats on getting back down to 146!!!
I went for a run today, and now I'm starvation central, so hopefully my run makes up for the whole chicken I feel like eating today.

295 Stayed the same, but that is better than gaining! So I don't have much room to complain!

I'm at 172.2 today. So close, so close!

kswood87: That is very strange that we were the same weight yesterday! Would have been even stranger if we were the same height! But I think it's strange in an awesome way. And you definitely share my excitement to get into the 160s!! The waiting is a bit agonizing, but it'll happen soon.

Jelbb: I know all about working the right angles!! I have one side of my face that I like more. But lately my face has been getting slimmer, so I haven't done it as much (or maybe I do it without thinking now). YAY for getting thinner! I'm positive you'll get that jawline, especially since you can achieve it in pictures. It'll come eventually!

So I'm back up to 198.8, but honestly, I ate like a guy all weekend, so I'll take a 1.2 lb gain. And yeah, that whole "not weighing until TOM is over" didn't happen, I HAD TO KNOW.

But this is okay! It didn't start yet, but I know its coming. I skipped out on work today and went spinning at noon. I made myself chili for all week's lunch (and some dinner) and I'm ready to kick that 1.2 lb's butt.
