No, there is nothing to buy! Don't let any of those links fool you. You just follow the running plan/chart listed on the website. It's very simple... and it works!

Yeah, just go by the chart. I started out with a podcast by Robert Ulrey but you can find that on itunes if you search the free podcasts to subscribe to if you have an ipod. If not, it's the same thing as in the chart.

I was supposed to do week 8 day 2 today, but after 4 minutes of running, I just wimped out. I walked (brisker than usual) the rest, so I kept moving, but I just didn't feel it. Too little sleep, fuel, and energy today. I'll try to make up for it tomorrow.

Default Made it through Week 1

Hi ladies! Jumping in here because I started C25k this week. So far I like it a lot. I have been cycling and walking pretty regularly, so I thought week 1 (jog 60/walk 90) might be too easy--yeah right! It was perfect--challenging but not discouraging. But then, week 1 of lots of programs is easy. Anyway, it's inspiring to read all the success stories in this thread.

Resting today... Week 2 begins tomorrow at 6AM!

hey all! i did w1d3 on friday, and it felt good. went for a long walk that evening, and saturdy morning as well with the in-laws to try and counter-act the easter feasts...

has anyone tried accelerating the program? i'm thinking of it, but am also thinking it will probably backfire and kick my butt when i get a little more into it...maybe just adding a fourth day of the program???

Hi I'm going to start this tomorrow! I look forward to being able to run and think it will be a great way to get in shape and lose weight! I read you're only supposed to do it 3x a week so what do you guys do for exercise on your days 'off'?

Here's one idea... I decided to work on the 100-pushup challenge, also a 3x/week program. There's another thread in 20-somethings that has more info and links to the program. For me it's ideal, because I can do it at home the days I don't actually go to the gym, and balances out all the lower body exercise I get with running.

I'm starting W1D1 of C25K today. I'll be doing it with the help of Robert Ullrey's podcasts. I started listening to it and it was great! It's kinda silly since I have a 5 km race this coming sunday, but oh well. I need to get into a regime anyways instead of just running randomly. At least the c25k will help with that.

LOL I can't either, skinny. I'm doing them on my knees right now... in the privacy of my own home, of course!

i got my hubby to look up the best way to work out to actually do push-ups one day...they said the best thing is trying to do a full push up, just only lowering yourself as much as you can so that you can push yourself back up. this is the best way to strengthen those EXACT muscles that you need for a full push up...all i can say is that my little baby push ups looked pretty sad...oh well, keep practicing!

I just completed w2d1 and it wasn't too bad. I don't think I'll have a hard time until week 3 or 4. I should participate in this push up challenge. I'm so weak right now. My goal is to do 1 a day, 2 next week.

butterflygurl: For the days that I have 'off', I do 30DS, some walking, and yoga. I exercise 6 days a week.
