Jelbb, we're about the same weight and height and I'm a C, so it should be the right size for you. But trust me, they will be tight, the first time you go to put them on, you'll be like holy crap, how am I supposed to get these on!? But once they're on, it makes more sense. And they are supposed to be tight otherwise they wouldn't be doing their job. And once you get them on you kind of forget they are there.

Also, about the whole intimate moments while wearing Spanx, you just have to go to the bathroom and take them off. When I was dating my boyfriend I would always go to the bathroom and take them off before things got hot and heavy and it's not like when I would come out he would be like "HEY YOU GOT FATTER". He never noticed. Now that we've been together two years I don't care about him seeing them.

I've always been too embarrassed to go out and buy them. I don't know why. I used to wear a girdle in high school when I was at my biggest and my best friend made fun of me SO BAD that wear that kind of stuff has been a sore spot for me.

My friend won a contest with Samsung worth $10,000... her and 19 friends get to take a limo to Toronto (the New York of Canada) and have VIP access to a club, as well as getting dinner, and Samsung "goodie bags." Never have I been so glad to have friends who enter contests, lmao.

Anyhow, we've gotta get decked-out dressed up... and I've got a hot black dress that I adore, and it fits me nicely still, despite having gained from my lovely low weight of 148.... but I think I could totally benefit from a Spanx silhouette, so I ordered some today! YAY!!!

Jelb - that sounds like fun! what club are you going to? i live right around the clubbing district and partying is way better here than in most canadian cities. i think i love toronto more than i've ever loved any human!

Believe it or not, Spanx are pretty well a "HAWT" commodity around me. Even my small friends wear them. Once you hit 30-35 or have kids, everyone can benefit from them.

I have one morbidly obese friend that wears them year round. Even at the park in the summer time (95 degrees) she will be wearing them under her clothes. I hate it because I see her perspiring like crazy and know she must be uncomfortable.
