Oh! and i don't know if it's a fluke or not, but according to my scale, I'm down to 214 this morning! Maybe being sick does have a few perks?

Hey All,

I have recently joined WW again, and I am feeling very motivated this time as well. I have lost weight before using WW so I know it works, I really have enjoyed reading all the posts and tips. Reading that people are going through the same thing as me is very encouraging.

Question- Does anyone here just have the materials and follow from home on their own? I haven't been doing very well and my pass is up in 2 weeks and I really just feel like I'm wasting money. Do you think the program works well on your own?

Another Question- Does anyone have the Deceptively Delicious book by Jessica Seinfeld? Is it good/worth it?!

I'm getting my digital scale tonight ladies! Tomorrow we start fresh together, my new scale and me!

Petunia: I do it from home, no meetings no online, just me and 3fc. I have lost 45lbs in 10 months. I think that it takes a lot more determination to do it when you have "no one watching" than when you go to the meetings etc. What are you struggling with in particular? The whole program, meal ideas, exercise?

Petunia, I used to do it all by myself, too. It does take more determination and that is why I gained back

Petunia My sister started off going to meetings but she just couldn't afford the extra money anymore and she started doing it from home. Well she is 15 pounds down so I would say it worked well for her. Also there was two weeks in a row that I did'nt go and I was fine and I lost when I finally came bakc to weigh. As long as you are good about tracking your stuff and be accountable you should be fine. I find that I am doing okay either way but when I attend meeting I am little more strict....

I have been doing the "Simply Filling" plan which is basically the old "Core" plan. It seems to be working really well for me. You are required to count the point s with this but I can't help it. I count the points anyway and be sure to stay in my allotted points. I hope this does well for me this thursday also.

Hey ladies, I'm sorry I've been MIA lately, more stupid drama with BF, plus running a challenge and being a part of another new challenge... super busy. Welcome to all the newbies!!! Hopefully I can check in with more detail within the next couple days.

As far as WW at home, I tried it, and discovered that I really need the meetings to keep me accountable.

TOM came and my WW weigh in was still positive. I've lost all the V-day weight and a smidge more. I'm close to 20 pounds lost. ^_^

Daimere I notice your ticker says 84 pounds lost but you said you have lost almost 20 on WW. So...what were you doing before WW to lose the other 64.....Just curious

Cakebatter: WW @ home. I just stopped trying and this time I realized I needed to use the meetings. ^_^ I've lost almost 20 since January and restarting WW. When I gave up on WW last year, I had lost 80 pounds. I gained 40-50 back before I woke up and was like, "GET BACK TO WW." WW works for me and I know it.

I've realized I can NEVER go back to the way I was eating. My heart was racing 24/7, my dad has heart surgery, and my grandma has diabetes. Whenever I eat off plan this time around, I still get those heart problems. I guess I will do it this time because it hurts if I don't.
