Ok, so I know I'm not twenty-something anymore (but I was 3 years ago if that counts.) Anyway I found this website that has a list of stores and the ads for their black friday sales so I thought I would post it under this thread since it was already started.

It sounds like great deals I hope you all won't be squished by the masses of shopaholics.

Icon- Seriously, I love Black Friday. Where I live, the outlet mall that is about an hour away. It opens at midnight, so we leave on Thanksgiving Day around 10 at night so we can stand in line. I know it sounds a little crazy, but, it is one our our traditions and we go more for the experience and sisterly bonding time rather than being on the prowl for specific items!

it sounds neat ^_^ we dont tend to have anything like that here, other than the traditional xmas sales, but people dont tend to line up and wait for those. Unless they've released something exciting and new, like the iPhone

One store has something like it in Holland. It's called "3 crazy days" and everything will be cheaper. Many women go there for the designer clothing, they almost fight for it. I've heard that it's literally that - crazy. I've never been there myself. I don't like large amounts of people much and I'd rather pay a bit more but have a nice time shopping. Also, most of their clothing is for 40 + and although I'm kind of adult now I'm not that old yet

Icon- Too Bad! It really is an experience. The first year we went, we saw a fight over a TV.

Elwing- It should definately call it "Crazy Day" here too! I just like all of the excitement!

I am going to be shopping online, and staying far far away from the malls and every other shopping mecca this weekend. I went to walmart today and people were standing 6 deep in line, and with carts filled to the brim of stuff. I hate shopping during the holidays and walmart.

Oh I can't wait!
I'm hitting up TJ Maxx! They've got great designer bags already discounted (Kathy Van Zeeland bags go for $50 vs. $100 at Macy's..) and those are going to be discounted even more..
Plus shoes.. and of course, clothes. I love TJ Maxx..
I've got to search out a good gps system for my mom and that will be the other store we go to. Maybe 6th Avenue or something..
I'm excited though!
