Hey everyone!! My name's Shauna and I'm SUPER stoked about doing this challenge. It sounds so rad. Well to start off I'm 21 and I live in southern California. I live with my grandparents and I was full-time at school but took a year off in order to switch things around and go to a different school as an art major. I started as a biology major, but have always been an art nerd since 9th grade. My senior year in high school was all art. Since about middle school I have always been the heavy girl. It's been a constant struggle, however, I am more motivated than ever to lose this weight for good.
I am a calorie counter as well as a low carb dieter and I work out at home. I'm still too self conscious to work out in public, besides walking. All I have is a stability ball, 5 pound dumb bells, and a pilates/yoga mat.
I'm so excited for this challenge. It definitely is a motivator.

Good morning everyone! I really love the banner idea! How do you get it on? I don't think I can use banners yet, it says something about waiting 20 days and making the minimum post requirement. What is up with that??

Hello Girls!! I'm so excited to get this challenge started!! I'm 23 and currently living with my loving boyfriend. I work full time as a dental hygienist and I'm also going to school online fulltime to get my bachelors in dental hygiene. (yes, I am very busy and crazy for attempting both!) I've struggled with my weight most of my life. Got real skinny by a miracle (it must've been cause I didn't change anything about how I exercised or ate at first) and now I've gained it all back and then some!!
I've been dieting for about two weeks. I'm following the south beach diet and so far have lost 13lbs! I'm really good about my diet, but I'm hoping this challenge will force me to get up and exercise more. I'm one of the few lucky ones to have a full gym in my house. (my bf is a meathead ) haha. And I talked him into getting me an eliptical so I'm set with equipment, I just need to do it!!!
Well, I bought the first BL workout DVD and Jillian's 30DS DVD at Walmart. I heard a lot of good things about these two, so I'm hoping I will be able to do them too! I really have a long way to go to get back into shape though. I used to be able to run 2 miles and do a bunch of sit-ups and push-ups, but in the last 5 years, I haven't done much of anything. I joined Curves after our first son was born, but due to the cost I had to stop going. Hopefully someday we can get an elliptical machine, I would love to have one. We just don't have enough extra cash for big things right now. The second exciting thing that happened today, besides getting my DVD's was I just paid $11 for a FULL tank of gas!! Very awesome Gas prices went down to $2.02 here and I had $1.10 off per gallon thanks to Weis gas rewards!! Sorry, that had nothing to do with weight, but I'm just very happy about it. I haven't paid less than $30 for a full tank in over, what, 6 years?
Anyways! GALS I really enjoyed reading about you, and I know we can do whatever we put our minds too, especially you QT working full time and doing online courses full time.... I could never... ahaha yay i'm excited.

Fine with me. I'm so scatter brained most of the time its better if I'm not captain!! I'm lucky if I know what day it is! When is our weight supposed to be posted? By tomorrow at noon? I def won't remember that so I will give you my stats now.
My current weight is 229lbs. My goal is 140lbs. So I'm 89lbs from my goal. Geez I have a long way to go!!
