Congratulations on getting you're eliptical Ace! You'll have to let us all know how you like it!

I'm trying to build up the courage to take some pictures, I've already lost 18lbs but I'm sure at the end of this I'll be kicking myself if I don't have pictures even if they aren't from the very beginning, to show how hard I've worked and how far I got! I'm just scared to see the pictures, I mean I stare at it everday in the mirror, but there's something a little bit more real about my giant hips and butt when its solidified in a picture!! Haha, or maybe thats just my neurotic thinking!

Ace: you are really losing fast! I'm jealous I have never weighed less during a period! Actually I haven't had a period for about 11 months...I got pregnant at the end of December last year, still haven't gotten it back since having our baby in Sept... I'm sure it is going to come any day though, it is just waiting for the worst time to happen!

I only have one mirror in the house and it is the medicine cabinet mirror in our tiny bathroom. It is actually two mirrors(sliding doors), so it may be a little hard for me to use it for pics. I will try though! Maybe later tonight or tomorrow I will have some pics to post.

if you're using a digi, I'm pretty sure there is a timer on it. you can always set the timer, aim is somewhere, run to get into the picture and SNAP... if you're off on the aim, just go according to which way it needs to go or w.e

It gets bigger than that, I guess they automatically resize it for posting in the forums.

so as i've gained back 2 lbs --- i've decided to cut rice out of my diet=== i ate a lot of rice this week---but still not nearly as much rice as i used to but i did have it for like 3 or 4 times this week--- so byebye rice=== obviously bad for me--- course i still ate OP and didnt eat anything out of the ordinary --- so hopefully this weight will go right back off --- and since i just posted the grades for my courses--- i' am done for the semester and officially on winter break!!!---course that means i won't have a paycheck for almost a month-- so that sucks! but i'll just have to live off of the hubby's paycheck for the time being---lol

Ha, I'm trying the opposite! Rice isn't the problem for me, it's the wheat. So, I'm cutting out all wheat, wheat flour, etc. and replacing it with rice, oats, and rice pasta. I'm interested in seeing how this all will work. Certain foods must do different things with different people! Good luck

You might think this is a weird idea aangel, but why don't you try cauliflower in place of your pasta... make the dishes as you usually would, but use cauliflower instead of pasta... I've only really done this with spaghetti, but it's good. Cauliflower is great with moms spaghetti

Ugh my weight is yoyoing like crazy. I'm up loads since the second last weigh in. It just leaves me feeling so annoyed and the weight loss just goes out the window.
I've lost my drive....any advice?

I'm not super good at advice but all I can say is, it's not worth giving up. Even if you're not losing weight at the moment, at least you're being healthy.
