yeah, mine is too... Maybe it has a little memory glitch like mine did. I've been 126.6 six out of 8 weighs in the last three days, but I was in a 'I knew I shouldn't be trying for maintenance yet' place, so didn't think about the scale thing until i read your post this morning. Mine is a Conair Weight Watchers scale that does the body fat, body water, etc.

I'd suggest weighing yourself holding something slightly heavy and see if you get the same number. It has also been suggested that if the floor isn't exactly level the numbers might not be fully accurate. So maybe move it to a different place on the floor? I agree, if you weigh at different times of the day, getting the exact same number is a little odd. I mean, you ate and drank during the day, so you would think there would be a little undigested something in there kicking you up .1 or so?

I wasn't trying to tell you not to rant. What I meant was more like congratulations and what is your secret to not retaining all the water that makes my scale go up and down so much. I guess short and sweet doesn't always work .

i know it sounds crazy but I've read that if you go all out and eat a lot for one day and then go back to your 'normal and healthy' eating it could trick your metabolism..........I've been 148 the past few weeks and last weekend i ate a LOT of junk in one day.......and tues..down to 146.5...i was amazed! I'm sure this might not happen for everyone but could be worth a try if you've been plateauing for quite some time!

Yeah, whenever I get stuck I start to calorie cycle and that generally helps get me out of a funk. It works wonders.

I am on an annoying plateau too!! 2-3 weeks at 141lbs!!!
I feel frustrated and discouraged.
I am scared to calorie cycle because i am worried that the day after I eat more calories I wont be able to control my eating and bring my eating back down. Any advice?

You really do have to prepare yourself for it..........set very strict limits for that day and the day after....even if it means having your menu and food prepared for the following day...and when you do have your 'calorie cycle' have something extreme that you know you will not want want every day...For instance that day I chose McDonalds..I know horrible....I haven't had McD's in a LOOOONNNGGG time....and I know that I am absolutely NOT going to eat it again soon because it's so unhealthy........so I chose that...had a grilled chicken chiabatta sandwich with fries.....I just choose things that I know are not the greatest and a much larger portion than what I am used to...All about self control chicky..hope this made sense!!!

I want to rant too.....I weighed in today to find that I gained .6 pounds after sticking completely to plan and walking 21 miles.

sh3l5 may you have reached your plateau and you have keep up whatever you are doing to burn through it.

I've been holding at 239 pounds - dipping once to 238 - since early August. I've lost inches, which is fantastic, of course. I know that must mean I've gained some muscle. But I want to see that scale move so badly it kills me.
