Hmm looks like no one has tried the Quiznos Sammies... I mean 200 calories obviously is not bad, but I wonder how small they are. A Ben Pao just moved into my building for work and I saw that a Bao was actually not that bad for you, but when I looked at how small it was I couldn't believe it!

I stopped eating Quiznos when I found out that some of their sandwiches are 1000+ calories (regular size, mind you!) and they refused to publish their nutritional value...so I'm boycotting...I don't care if they publish values for some of them now, I want all of them! :)

there salads have more then 1000 calories too....I made that mistake only once

Happy Hump Day! I had a good day. School was normal then I got a lot done at my internship which is always a bonus. When I got home went to the gym and biked 8.5 miles. (See HappyMamma a competition is what I needed to get my butt in gear). The funny thing is I ran into like 3 guys from my school when I was in the guy (a lot of students live in my building) and normally I get all self conscious when that happens but today I didn’t think twice about it. I just keep biking. I also realized something kindof bad today, I don’t have any spring clothing. I bought new summer close last year and new winter clothing but I never got anything in the spring or fall so I guess that means I will need to do some shopping. Well I guess I should get some homework done. Taylor – Thank you, I’m glad I inspire you. Lissa – Just keep pushing you’ll break through and start losing. IrishFairy – Your hair looks cute enjoy the complements. Good luck at the audition. |
Hump day!!
Today was a lot better for me than yesterday..it was hard to get through but I did it. :eek: Tomorrow I can't met with my personal trainer (seeing her friday though, she is getting her hair done tomorrow) and between classes I WILL go use the bike in gym in my apartment complex for 30 minutes if it is the last thing I do!!!:ebike: My eating is still going well...it's 5pm here and I still haven't reached 700 calories....but not I am not hungry. I know I will eat a good 350 cals for dinner (when the boy and I cook) but that still leaves me with some to play with. Perhaps I will have some popcorn later....:corn: My psychology test was super hard yesterday...I hope I did well. Rememberhowtosmile: Good job with the confidence! Hello!
I'm finally done with my final.. I didn't get to go to the gym, which I go every Mon,Wed,and Friday because I didn't get to finish studying for the final yesterday. I did get to do the cardio/strength DVD at home for 35 minutes, though. It surely made me feel so much better about not going to the gym. hehe... Well, I'll go to the gym tomorrow and Friday instead. My final was... sigh... hopefully it was okay...although I don't have a good feeling about it. :( As far as food goes, I "think" I've done pretty good job except for the lunch. Well, it's actually more like a lunch because I eat dinner at work around midnight or so. :P My bf made a very yummy burger and I was pretty satisfied after one small burger but it was soooo good that I ended up having half more with no bun. Just bunch of greens and onions. Oh, and I finally got to use "signature" so I went right away and added tickers. Yay! =) |
Whewwwwwwwww it's busy here in my life! So much to do...I really miss going to the gym, like CRAZY but I just literally do not have the time. I'm feeling MUCH more in control of my life, though, and that really feels great.
Looking at my ticker I just realized I'm 1/3 of the way to my goal!! I might have to raise my goal weight a little (it all depends on how I look. I have a pretty big bone structure, so I might need to weigh a little more), but I'm seriously really feeling like I'm in this for the long haul, and it feels good. Taylor -- I know you mentioned before you kill yourself a lot at the gym...just make sure you STICK TO THAT 30 MINS TOMORROW and don't try to do too much just because you think it's right. Slow and steady wins the race in terms of weight loss!! Irish -- best of luck with the Idol audition!! I'm a professional singer, so I know how crazy that stuff can be. Let me know how it goes, I'll be thinking of you!! I think your hair is cute, and if you like it, who cares?! I just remembered that I haven't been eating breakfast the past couple days and I didn't even notice. That's NOT GOOD!! |

So I have some pretty big "challenges" coming up...
Challenge #1 my birthday next week Challenge #2 Passover dinner with the family on Saturday AND Sunday Passover I will probably be fine since there will be so much family that I haven't seen in a while that if I just keep talking there's no way I can stuff my face, plus lets be honest the food isn't THAT good. Probably best off sticking with a salad, meat and a piece of matzah. My birthday... oy! So I'm going to a brewery for my birthday with a bunch of friends. I know they are going to want to do drinks and appetizers and entrees and desserts. I can get a glass of wine that's not too bad and avoid the appetizers by just drinking the wine and hopefully no one will notice that I'm not digging in. The dessert is going to be tricky... I mean if they order a piece of cake and sing happy birthday how can I not eat it? It's not even worth a bite for me because I've been sooo good on my eating and exercise plan. Also, for dinner. If I get a skillet of fajitas and don't eat the wraps just eat the skillet on its own is that a bad choice? I think on Chilis nutrition facts a skillet is 330 calories... It just looks so buttery. But on my birthday do I really want to get another salad? |
