Well, I got right back on track today from having a burrito for lunch yesterday. This is the first time I can re-call having "derailed" and then woke up the next morning and started right back truckin'! :snail:

Honestly, the burrito did taste wonderful...but right after I ate it I felt like a nap...not energized like when I eat my turkey sandwich with laughing cow.

I am glad I passed this big "test" and started a new day today - that was huge for me. :woohoo:

The boy and I have also thought about buying some bikes this summer so we can ride to the store - the coffee shop etc... instead of driving. We live in the middle of the city and it seems a shame to drive. We could also save on gas! (Not to mention calories):bike2:

I have also started to do little things as well as working out. Like - taking my basket back into the store for a few extra steps....taking the stairs at school:exercise:(3rd floor...darn that art class!)

Well, I hope you all are having a great sunday!

Hey all wanted to check in again. I'm having one of those days where it feels like all I am doing is eating, and I know it is just because I spread my calories out thoughout the day so I'm eating every like 2 hours but still it feels like all I've done is eat. I'm still barely making my calorie goal but I don't know it feels weird. I'm also debating going to the gym, I'm so sore from yesterday that I don't know.

Taylor - Good job getting back on track and its ok to splurge once in awhile. Also I think getting a bike is a really good idea. It's a great workout (mind you I can only ride stationary bikes because at age 24 I still don't know how to ride a bike.)

Hey Taylor,
Getting a bike is a great idea! Too bad I can't really get it because I have 2.5 year old baby I gotta "carry" around..and I work about 40 minute away from home so I can't ride bike to work. However, I went for a walk last week with my daughter and it was pretty nice, although I didn't walk that fast. I think I'm going to start doing it when the weather permits after she wakes up from her nap, since that's the only time I have.

Hey Tara!

Awww you got a baby! And man I bet you burn calories carrying her around.
I want to get a bike and it seems like a great idea living in the city and all. ---And who cares if you didn't walk fast....walking at all is better than none!!

Hey Taylor..
She's trying to be independent so trying to walk everywhere now. I try to work out when she's taking a nap, but sometimes things doesn't go the way I want...and she sometimes try to "work out" with me or sometimes becomes a monkey and hold onto my leg while I'm trying to do squats and stuff, which is not fun at all. lol. Picture me all sweating and breathless trying to do squat and 2 year old holding onto the leg. :P
On Saturday, she actually laid on the floor going "mommy, mommy, let's go to kitchen, let's go to kitchen." HAHAHA! :P
