Thumbs up getting noticed!

Last night my boyfriend's mom saw me for the first time in a few weeks, and about the first thing she said to me was "YOU'VE LOST WEIGHT!" A few people at work have commented, and the BF has (but i'm sure that's only because he feels obligated), so it felt good for someone else to notice that didn't already know of my weight loss efforts!

p.s., i'm SOOOOOOO excited for my weekly kickboxing class tonight!!!

OH YAY!!! It certainly never gets old hearing those comments! Awesome job, girlie!

Kickboxing sounds like sooo much fun - I would definitely join one if I had the funds. That, or a salsa class or something.

I totally know how you feel. I saw my dad for the first time in Dec since May and he was like "OMG you look great!" It feels so good. Or when you catch someone looking at you..like "looking" at you. Even though I am totally taken, it's nice to know someone's looking. Especially when no matter how much weight you lose, you barely ever see it yourself.

BY the way..I am joining a gym and want to take kickboxing classes. They have them on tuesday nights. Is it fun? Hard? how do you like it?

PS. I was around the same starting weight as you and want to go to about the same goal weight as you! Congrats on starting it off strong with kickboxing! Those lbs will come off in no time. Keep up the good work.

WTG! That must feel fantastic. Last time I got down to around 185 I remember how nice it was to hear those comments, like validating everything you're working towards. I can't wait to get to a point where it's noticable on me

I LOVE the class - it's very challenging, but so much fun at the same time! It's very empowering too! Afterwards I can really "feel it" all over! I definitely recommend it!

I love getting comments like that from people. Especially when I myself can't see a difference, but someone else can. It makes me really happy!
