You... you're an hourglass!? LIZZIE, FOR SHAME FOR HAVING SUCH A PERFECT FIGURE!!!
Just kidding, no, you're totally lucky, cos I bet once some of that "thickness"-- as you so adorably called it -- comes off, you're gonna have THE perfect figure. *radiates jealousy*
I can't wait to be around to see those before/after pics!!
I think I am closest to a pear. I used to have a pretty proportionate body when I was younger, decent sized boobs, flat tummy, skinny thighs, butt and legs. I gained in my chest first (hubby loved that!), then it all went to the butt, thighs and hips. One day I looked at myself in the mirror and thought, "when the heck did my butt get so big!" lol I think the first 5 pounds that I lost came completely off my chest (much to hubby's dismay). Since then, it has been slowly coming off my lower body.
I'm still trying to figure out what I am. I gain mostly in my stomach, upper arms and thighs. If I had to pick between apple and pear... looking at the picture given, I look more like an apple. But I have a nice bum, not a flat one like the T&S website describes.
Hah, looking at the T&S website... I wish I was a lollipop.
definitely a pear. I gain it first in my hips/butt/thighs (i can seriously go down a shirt size and not be able to button my jeans... ugh) and lose it first in my upper body .
I'm a definite hourglass. My shoulders and hips are exactly the same width and my waist is much smaller, no matter how much I weigh. I'm grateful for that, but find it very frustrating to buy jeans/pants, and I can't wear those babydoll/empire waisted dresses or tops because I look massive! The hourglass is held up as such a womanly figure, yet I look ridiculous in a lot of clothes, so I wanna know who these clothes are designed for exactly??
When I lose weight I notice it on my face first, particularly the chin/cheeks, and my lower abdomen. My body responds well to exercise, I have a very round butt, and it's taking on a Beyonce-like bubble since I started squats and lunges! I used to get teased for it, but I'm proud of it now. I used to want so badly to be a wedge (big bust, boyish hips) or lollipop, but I simply don't find it very sexy anymore. Give me Marilyn anyday
I'm like the other femmes in here- I am a rectangle. I have no hips- well the pudge on my "hips" make me look like I have some... but I am straight down.
If I were thin- I would look like Lindsey Lohan... but I'd stay thin w/o the coke =)
Right now, I definitely feel like just an oversized apple! I have been overweight most of my life but I would like to think I have a cute figure hiding under there somewhere. I have a very small waist but so much of my weight goes to my stomach it takes away from my petite waist. I really don't know what I'm going to look like after all this weight is gone! I can't wait to see though.
my mom and I always said we look like apples with tooth picks stuck in the botton. I have very thin legs and all my weight seems to be right in my stomach, breasts, and upper arms. It drives me crazy.
