Lightbulb Measure for November

Idea!

How about we post our measurements here once a month - (just like we do our weekly weigh in) I'm going to suggest you do this during tom - when we need that motivator from :gasp: gaining.
You can post your measurement - then a + or -

What do you all think?

I just did mine... holy cow!

waist 45
hips 57
neck 16
thigh 31
breast 51
still 5'0" tall

Our measurements are about the same Dana. There's no way I could do mine during TOM since my tummy measurement has been known to go up by at least 8 inches overnight.

well I am left handed so I'm not sure. When I have that much of a jump I usually will wait another month to see what it does.

I just took my measurements on Tuesday!

Neck: 39cm
Bust: 48in
Chest: 40in
Waist: 46in
Hips: 53in
Apron: 9in or 23 3/4cm
Thighs: 28in/28.5in
Calves: 16in/16.5in
Upper Arms: 18in/17.5in
Forearms: 11in/11.25in

Thighs, Calves, Upper Arm, and Forearm are all right side and then left side.
Apron is the disgusting belly of fat up to my belly button (yes, I actually measured it lol).

Next measurements will be taken on November 22nd, in four weeks!

Height: 5'1"
Weight: 221.5

I would love to do this. Can someone give me a quick answer to two things? Do I measure chest across or under breasts? And is it the smallest part of the waist or the largest? Thanks!

With the outline I used to tell me where to measure, chest is just under your breasts and bust is across the largest part of the breast...and waist is the smallest part of the waist, right near the belly button.

Edit (here's what I went by):

Bust: Measure around the chest right at the nipple line, but don't pull the tape too tight.
Chest: Measure just under your bust
Waist: Measure a half-inch above your belly button or at the smallest part of your waist
Hips: Place tape measure around the biggest part of your hips
Thighs: Measure around the biggest part of each thigh
Calves: Measure around the largest part of each calf
Upper arm: Measure around the largest part of each arm above the elbow
Forearm: Measure around the largest part of the arm below the elbow.

I don't know HOW I'm so symetrical! I think it's SO interesting to see the different measurements compared to weight.. we all have such different bodies!

Good idea, Charbar! I've only ever measured bust, waist, hips before. Here goes using Dawnyal's very comprehensive model:

28 October 2005

Bust: 43"
Chest: 34.5"
Waist: 34"
Hips: 45.5"
Neck: 13.75"
Left & right thigh: 26"
Left & right calf: 18.25"
Left ankle: 9.5"
Right ankle: 9.75"
Left upper arm: 11.5"
Right upper arm: 11.75"
Left wrist: 6.5"
Right wrist: 6.25"

Height: 5' 4"
Weight: 195
Size--upper body: 16-18 depending on style.
Size--lower body: 16

I've always had a bit of a chunky calf thing going on, although unlike my thighs, at least it's mainly muscle.
