Hi everyone. Today is exactly one year ago that I started my weight loss journey. What a year it's been! I'm down 77 as of Monday, although in mid November I was down 96. I'd hoped at my year anniversary to be down about 104 lbs but 77 isn't anything to be upset about.

I only stayed on track 2 days last week and lost 4 lbs anyway. How did that happen? I still have 19 more to lose to get rid of the holiday weight, then I'm back to virgin pounds. (No looking back, only forward, right??).

I've eaten good this week but for some reason can't seem to get myself on the treadmill. I was walking 1hr10 min a day, five times a week before the holidays but now I can't seem to get on there at all. Maybe after a good week of weight loss I'll be more prepared to get on there. We'll see.

I hope everyone has a great week!

I am down 1 pound. I weighed the other night at the gym and was at 195, I thought for sure that when I did a morning weigh it would be less. Was not meant to be though. I weighed this a.m. and I am still sitting at 195. I know it's not a bad thing, I think I just got my hopes up.

It is wonderful to see so many losers this week. Everybody is working so hard!! The holiday pounds are just melting away. It's super motivating to come here and see how well everyone is doing.

Congrats Ingrid, Tammy, and Sandi! You're all doing great. Tammy, don't worry, there will be more to come, I know it. You're really doing so well, I hope you're not discouraged.

New here. I'm 17 weeks pregnant. I was 248 at the dr's office today down from 255 when I got pg. Just morning sickness. I'm not trying.

I'm not sure what to do yet. Usually I gain 35 lbs but last pg I didn't because I was counting fat/calories after having a gallbladder attack.

Ingrid - congratulations on both the 4 lb loss this week and the accomplishment of reaching your 1 year weight journey anniversary!

Sandi K - 4 lbs. is wonderful! Keep it up!!

Tammy - Tammy, Tammy, Tammy - 1 lb. is 1 lb. less than you were last week, which is a lot less than where I am. Wanna trade spots ??? Seriously, I think takes the body a little bit of time to adjust after switching from a weight training program. You just need to give yourself a few more days and the results you were hoping for will be a reality.

Catherine - Welcome to the tread! Sorry to hear about the morning sickness, but estatic to hear that we have another expectant mother on the boards!

As for me, the meds seem to be working because I managed to lose 11 lbs this week. Keeping my fingers crossed that the weight will continue down next week.

Kimberley that is awesome. WTG on the loss. Just remember that men are designed for some reason to lose more than us women. I guess that makes us better survivors than men

Howie--1 pound is still a good loss. You'll be at goal before you know it.

Melissa--11 pounds that is awesome. Good to see that you are back on track. What meds are you now taking if I may ask?

welcome mabear. Hopefully your morning sickness will subside.

Sandi K.--that is a great loss. Keep up the good work.

Tammy--1 pound is still a good loss. I too would gladly trade places with you

Ingrid--77 pounds is awesome for the year. I look forward to hearing more about your successes.

Thanks for the welcome.

frenchie - Yup from Quebec but an Anglo bear. I speak enough to get by but not enough to write.

Dana - I think I was just born organized. If you saw my house you might not ask. After my 7th I couldn't keep up so just let things go.

The morning sickness is going away. I'm happy but scared as now I'll have to try to not gain too much.
