Yeah, I noticed the ending statement about honey, molasses...knew it was biased...but being a "junk" sugar junkie, a lot of it fit. As with everything you read online - you have to take some and leave some.

Which brings me to another ? I need to post - but maybe you know Jillybean. I saw Wu-Long tea advertised here on 3fc. It looks like another "slimming tea". Any thoughts? I thought those were mostly laxatives?

One of the books I read that was written by a doctor told a story of some people who were shipwrecked. This was years ago and was a documented medical report. These men were sailors, and were transporting sugar and rum. So when they wrecked, that was about all they had to eat for a couple of weeks. According to the story, when they were found, they were in much worse shape than they would have been if they had simply fasted during that time. The sugar was that bad for them. Rather than keeping them alive and healthy, it did very bad damage to their bodies.

Something to think about.

Is Stevia the best of the alternative sweeteners? I heard it is natural. I use splenda...some said that was ok.
