It's Wednesday and I can't believe this thread hasn't been started. Of course we have many non-weighers this month. So I'll start.
I started my new plan on September 18. So in about 1 1/2 weeks I lost 4.5 lbs!! Wooo Hooo. This is very exciting especially because in that 1 1/2 weeks I probably had as many bad days as good.
Maybe we should title this thread Weekly Weigh-in and Non Scale Victories or something that would include the non-weighers? I, too, was wondering about starting a thread because so many people are throwing away the scale, but I like to applaud people's scale (and non-scale) victories and commiserate with people if they haven't had a good week and need support.
Ok ...Accountability time here on 3FC..It has been one month since my start on Sept. 1st...so I weighed this morning.. I lost 3.4 pounds in one month!..Doesn't sound so great to me..I have not been "on plan" like I planned out!....BUT I have not gained soooo I guess I should just stop the whinning, HUH?
3.4 pounds gone...yeah for me! slow and steady wins the baby race for me!
I was thinking about throwing out the scale after reading that thread, but I'm in an October Challenge over on Dottie's board so I need to weigh in regularly. Plus, I'm still in the "new" phase of this journey, and I need the constant reassurance that it's working. /grin
Bev - only 4 pounds more to goal!! You must be so pumped and excited!! You've done a tremendous job - it's knowing others have done it that helps me go on, especially when I get so darn frustrated when week after week passes and there's little change (although I DO count it as a success that I haven't gained). Sometimes goal feels as far away now as it did at the beginning, but I'll try to be patient and I'll keep thinking of you and everyone else here who inspires me to never give up. THANKS ALL
Going to go to Old Navy and see if I can force myself into a size 14 pair of jeans. I'm pretty sure they won't fit now, but I'm betting soon and I want to have them around. While there, I just might get a size 12 for inspiration!
