Always remembering to be thankful and grateful for our efforts to remain/get healthy ... remember that whether we lose or not we are still working through this journey with a PURPOSE and doing it together - this is a place to chat, vent and/or to use just for the accountability

I'm keeping my goal of 10 lbs down for the month and am hoping I can make that with our big move coming up in a few weeks! I know it will be more difficult with being on the road cross-country, the inevitable take-out/drive-through, and visiting family on the way, but I'd like to stay consistent with my goals and hope that I don't derail too much by month's end.

Thank you, Rennie, for making sure that everything is set up for us for another month. I know how busy you are with your work, church and family that I'm grateful that you remember this item on your long to-do list My May goal is to do more than maintain.

Okay, now that the final April weigh-in is done, I have edited my main post above to reflect my goal of 10 lbs down this month. I have our big move coming up in a few weeks, so I am hoping I will be able to stay the course once that gets started and we are on the road. I know how easy it will be to do tons of takeout once our pantry is packed up (going to keep a few basic things behind to mitigate that) and then even more so while we are out on the road visiting family and traveling cross-country. Not to mention that, for about a whole week or two, my exercise routine will be stalled and near non-existent...so, I'm hoping that all the cleaning and pre-packing/sorting we will have to be doing before and after the movers come will help get in some burns before we go.
Here's to a good month for everyone...good luck, you guys! We've got this.
I have some travel this month and houseguests so my diet will be derailed a little, but I would still like to lose 10#. I didn't get to weigh this morning so I will do so tomorrow and specify a weight goal more clearly then. Have a great month everyone!

I had a very bad weekend health-wise and it's reflected in the scale. I'm healthier now and have returned to drinking the proper amount of water and eating more again so I should see that turnaround rather quickly. Have a great day everyone!

Day 85: 2.3 miles walked, 245.6 miles total – Injured, Frodo is carried on pony. Head south from dell.
Day 86: 3.2 miles walked, 248.8 miles total – Cross Great East Road and enter thickets on south side. Land slopes south.
Day 87: 3.4 miles walked, 252.2 miles total – traveling through the wilderness.
Day 88: 5 miles walked, 257.2 miles total – still traveling through the wilderness.
Day 89: 3.6 miles walked, 260.8 miles total – Camp in thickets.
Day 90: 2.8 miles walked, 263.6 miles total – 1st day after Weathertop
Day 91: 3.8 miles walked, 267.4 miles total – still in the wilderness

Day 112: 5.2 miles walked, 353.3 miles total – Camp not far SW of bridge. Camp is high enough for Merry to see the Loudwater far in the distance!

Day 114: 5.9 miles walked, 362.5 miles total – Enter the steep lands of the Trollshaws. Hills quickly shut them in. Difficult going. Camp.
Day 115: 4.7 miles walked, 367.2 miles total – More climbing in the Trollshaws
Day 116: 6.4 miles walked, 373.6 miles total – Weather turns wet during the day.
