Smile I LOVE SEPTEMBER

September always has and always will be my favourite month. I always feel such a sense of renewal. I guess it harkens back to returning to school and the weather changing. It is so beautiful here right now. It is sunny but slightly cooler. You can't help but want to get outside and walk your buns off.

Yes I most definately restarted my weight loss efforts 9/1, this past Sunday also helped motivate me. It was just a terrible, terrible day. My eating was out of control, I felt completely blah and 2 year old was driving me insane. So I just thought to myself that with the beginning of a new month I was going to take control of my life. I started out by getting me and my son outside first thing in the morning for a walk and a healthy breakfast. It is a good way to start the day and you feel like the rest of the day has to be good.

So, I'm back in it for the long-haul. I've been around 275-280 for like the past 2-3 years; however, this summer I 'ballooned' up to 299. If you can actually call it 'balloon' if I wasn't all that skinny to begin with.

Who said the Freshman 15 is gained during the freshman schoolyear? I gained mine between the summer of my freshman and sophomore year. With a car so accessible, it's so much easier to run out to get something eat late at night than it is at school where I have no car.

Anyway, I need some support. With a 'hard' major, and 10 hours of work a week piled on top of that, and hanging out with friends who can easily eat junk food and they don't gain a pound on their size 10 bodies, I get totally distressed and often feel like giving up.

I don't want to see that 300 on the scale, and I want to be thin, fit, healthy, and happy when I graduate from Bucknell in the Spring of 2006.
