+ being able to get a rescue dog - my Jazz needs a companion

+ Anna gave me four wee filet mignons!

+ the front perennial bed which is finally coming back into colourful bloom with daylilies

+ weight is slowly dropping now that I'm eating fewer carbs

+ the school entries in the Fair are now all mounted for display and the winners list is WIP

+ a sunny day with moderate temperatures for Day 2 of the Fair

+ Dan finally completed the grant application so now we wait for our $10K

+ my Mill staff decided to dress in period costume for the Fair and just went ahead and did it - good bunch!

+ weight is holding steady despite a bit of carb slippage

+ some of the 2011 summer clothes are now back in my closet

+ have a huge crockpot stew made to feed the Fair Board members today

+ Millie, my rescue, is fitting in well

+ got the lace curtain hung in the deck door so the dogs can go in and out on their own and the bugs will stay out

+ have been using little pockets of free time to get niggles done
