183.8 this morning. I went to the podiatrist and she said it's nerve entrapment/fibroneuroma. She gave me an injection of alcohol, which she said is a fairly new treatment that they have found works better than steroids. I have to have one weekly for 3-6 weeks. After I got one on tuesday I was able to go to the gym and do 2 miles on the treadmill on wednesday. I walked the mall yesterday (had to get out of the house---having a new roof put on) and by the end of yesterday my foot was hurting again. I thought the injection was going to last longer....sigh.
Hi all! back here again... just finished the 190's (for the 2nd time ) Weighed in on Saturday at 188.8. at 185 I get a mini-reward. I am just not sure of what it will be yet LOL
It was a tough week, my cat had surgery and I ate really bad a couple of times. But I've started a running program and I'm keeping up with it.
Cincorn, I've got nerve entrapment in my ankle. When I get a shot of steroids I am not allowed off of the couch for a week ... I guess there's a chance of tendon rupture otherwise. So whatever treatment you get, steroids should be a last resort if you want to stay moving.
Kat117: Lets keep you down here with us until you get to 179 ok? Congrats on sticking with it and let us know what you do to celebrate 185!
CoolMm75: Looks like you won't be with us much longer, good deal!
weighed in at 188.6 this morning. A little annoyed that the scale is barely moving since last Saturday, but i shouldn't complain as I lost 9 pounds of water weight last week (first week on Atkins).
I must remember not to give up - that this is a long term process and that I may have weeks I dont lose. Grrrrrrrr!!
179 this morning. I've been maintaining between 179 and 183 for a while. I feel good right now, not so much white knuckling so hopefully i can progress now.
Well I broke into the 180s yesterday (189.6), but decided to not to announce it until official weigh in. I now weigh, 186.7. I honestly do not think it will stick, but I guess we will find out! I think it is safe to say I'm in the 180s!
