  • Well ladies and gents (don't know how many of you there are!)...
Thank you so much.. Having people as support that you're not embarrassed to talk to about your weight helps soooo much...(most of my girlfriends are a size 6...)
And I don't have as much weight to go as I thought... I was at the doctor today and she said my weight was 240lbs....
Last time I was weighed was in March on a digital scale at 251lbs.
So, I guess I've lost some weight.... or the scales were totally off...
And... I'm going home and going to the gym tonite for the first time in 4 months (although, I did have a tiny piece of cheesecake at the office today )
  • Hi Celina,

Just joined the group yesterday - so welcome fellow newbie. I know what you mean about pictures...just don't waste your time and energy beating yourself up about them. Recently started back at the gym...can't do very much but I'm trying. Whenever I start beating on myself I stop it with this thought, "Are you doing something about it now? You know miracles don't happen over night - be patient!" Regret is nothing but a waste of time. Live in the moment and take care of yourself.

Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now (that was as much for me as it is for you). Just keep your eye on your goal and forget those pictures. Imagine how much energy you'll have to focus on the getting healthy!
