Yeah, it's true, losing weight is darn expensive. I've had to buy so much. Everything has had to be replaced except my socks basically!!!! Some things many times!!! And I'm not done yet. I still haven't replaced some things yet.

I've already given away my 24's through 20's I think to Goodwill. I need to go through things again and get rid of the 18's and 16's. The 14's I'll hang on to for a while. I'm a 12 sometimes 10 now.

Oh, man - if I get out of some clothes (just a few things so far) I can't give them away fast enough. I have a closet full of smaller sizes, so I'll be OK on my way down.

I've considered putting an "expiration date" on some of those smaller clothes. Like, if I'm not in that dress by April of 2004, I'm giving them away. I hate for all these clothes to go out of style while I'm piddling around, pretending to lose weight. Somebody who needs them could be wearing them!

Ooooo!!! I forgot this great idea!

Two friends of mine who are plus-size girls decided to do a clothes swap. She invited like 10 plus-size women to clean out their closets with clothes they wanted to get rid of (for any reason) and come to their house. They first sorted the clothes by size and then had a little party. As long as you brought something to contribute (your box of clothes), you could take home as many articles of clothing that you wanted. Anything left over was given to a women's shelter.

I thought the really great thing about this is all the really nice outfits that I have been given over the years from relatives and friends that have no clue what style I like. I mean, I have a beautiful jumper dress that I despise wearing because it's just NOT ME! Someone else would probably love to have it.
