I just realized that I've been doing this all wrong! Why didn't somebody say something?! I went back and updated my original post with my weigh-ins, and I'll refrain from making this thread 200 posts long! Sorry!

And, you are all on board! I saw some great numbers posted! Keep up the good work, y'all!

Your way keeps the challenge on the front page though

"Hottie" hehe...I don't think anyone except my close friends has ever referred to me as that. Hotaru actually means 'firefly' in Japanese...I had to add a diminutive because that was already taken.

I am leaving for a 3-week holiday and I intend to take a break from the internet, really enjoy the sea and switch off all electronic devices so I will not write anything. I will run, swim and do my strength training.
I will -hopefully - stay on plan at least most of the times.
My best to you and your efforts, enjoy the rest of the summer

Have fun on your holiday, Kitcherella!

It looks like everybody's doing well and hanging in there!

Sorry I haven't been around much. My computer died recently and I've been "in transit" for the past few days.

I got a new computer, but now I'm headed to Florida for several days for a family get-together. I hope you all have a good week!

Well, the woosh fairy flew into town today! I'm down 3.8 this week! I've been expecting those pounds to fall off for a couple of weeks, now. I'm so happy, I just had to share!

Congrats! I had my whoosh last week and haven't had a scale all week because of a dead battery. I stepped on once I got a new one today (admittedly a HORRIBLE idea given that it was right after dinner) and wasn't pleased with what I saw. I just finished a second workout (well, second time doing the video...I had bike riding and lap swimming between the two) and I'm going to be sure to take a nice long bike ride before bed tonight. Fingers crossed that the scale decides to be nicer tomorrow morning.

Congrats on your whoosh, AwShucks. Happy birthday Hotaruchan!

How's everybody doing?

I think I managed my trip pretty well, and I'm happy with what I weighed in at on Friday.

Hi Y'all!

I'm not due for my weigh in till sat., but am droping by because the thread helped me get where I am today. I'm 2 mo. into a new healthy eating plan without a sinle 'cheat" or mishap. I've lost 25 pds as of last Sat. And I WENT INTO THE GARDEN TODAY!! I took my Penny out to play in garden for first time in over a year. I sat and dreamed of being able to repair and replant my front side walk this Fall. My main reason for new health plan is to be able to garden again. I'm a gardening addict. If you don't believe me check out my garden acre at (www.gingersflowergarden.com) When (not if) I meet this first goal of Fall equinox - 3 mo. OP I'm rewarding myself with Fall flowers and Daffodils for my front garden bed. It's been 3 yrs since I've planted anything.

Hi Ginger! Congrats on the big loss! And I know how happy you are to get out in the garden again. What a good idea to buy daffodils for a reward -- how exciting to see them bloom in the spring when you're that far along to your NEXT goal! I'm going to have to think about that for one of my rewards.
