+ Breadfest a success at the Mill yesterday
+ lovely veggie harvest
+ local strawberries have arrived
+ big storm caused us to lose power but no tree damage
+ great family dinner at the farm last night - I do love my relatives
+ Disney seems to have recovered from her "malaise"
+ Fair Board BBQ lunch today - should be fun

+ my AC - it was 90º here eysterday afternoon and very humid
+ ice in cold drinks
+ fun time at the Fairgrounds yesterday
+ leftover BBQ chicken in my freezer
+ had a good nap with the dogs

- I used the pavers this morning and looked closely at parts of the gardens I have not seed for a long time. Grateful to be able to do so.
- made some new dish gardens.... great fun
- discovered I have unlimited minutes on my cell on the weekends.

- quiet time with no noise 'on'.
- Mike says that Maya is transitioning off of her 'fussy' crying time in the evening.

+ Natalie, our assistant curator, who practically did the financial report for me
+ despite the heat, I did two hours of garden work yesterday

+ the AGM went well with good attendance and several new members
+ after the storm, there was a double rainbow right over the Mill
+ enjoying the local strawberries - a quart a day may be too much but ...
+ heat and humidity have moderated after the big storm
+ gym buddies bailed so not as much pressure to get to the gym for 7:30
+ booked my DD and family tickets for August visit
+ met new folks who bought friend Bob's house - nice couple
+ sorted and pitched some too big summer clothes
+ bit the bullet and updated S/C/G on my profile - feels good to be honest

Beverley's post reminded me that I am grateful for my neighbour's cat who thinks she is mine. She spends time on my front porch and the back deck, greets me when I come home, sits on my lap and goes home to eat, sleep and use her litter. A perfect pet!
