+ planning a trip to Mackinac Island late May - different!

+ found fabric to make the new quilt - in bright colours not gloomy gray, black and white

+ looking forward to pet therapy this afternoon. the nursing home was closed for three weeks and then my cold interfered with our visits

+ car goes in for oil change this morning so I'll catch up on all the local news from the local lads

+ great visit at the nursing home yesterday - Jazz was particularly charming

+ today we will have temperatures in the 40's F - Spring is sneaking up

+ the lads have tapped in my sugar bush - fresh syrup soon

+ resolved some tax problems for Donna yesterday

+ made a low cal pita pizza last night out of almost nothing - I need to get groceries!

+ my garage owner wants to buy my Focus if I decide to trade it in on a new one - I guess it's a good car!

+ glorious peach sunrise is happening out there - now to get rid of the snow

+ fun night coming tonight with Book Club just up the hill at Liz's house

+ Holly is going to give Jazz a haircut on Tuesday - so good because the groomer at the kennel cuts him way too short

- found some old books from when I was a little girl - I didn't even know I had them. It was fun to look through them.

+ fun evening at Book Club last night - even walking there through a snow storm

+ a funeral this afternoon that will be a true "celebration of life"

+ resolved a problem with my quilt - nothing is unfixable!

+ tried out two new machines at the gym yesterday - I can do them now!

+ Heather and her two boys leave for Disney today - so nice to share their excitement

- I love having more light in the evening. As a celebration, our neighborhood is having a potlluck cookout for supper.

+ was able to help out Karen financially yesterday

+ Moel delivered my re-homed filing cabinet and brought me more sweet potatoes from last summer's garden

+ tasted the first of the maple syrup from my woods - a good year

+ discovered Christina is as nuts about gardening as I am!

+ still struggling to resolve the quilt problem but I think I have it now

+ lots of laughter down at the Diner yesterday - silliness is fun!

+ Jazz and I do storytime at the libraries this week - the March break programme
