Hi everyone! I'm still stuck in the 270's as well and right when i was getting close to hopefully banishing it i got my period..i've been up almost 10lbs some days. Right now i'm at 277.2 according to my scale. BLAH.

Go away period/water weight/crazy hormones that affect my eating and sleep!

How are we doing today? I am doing well, it's 7:53am and I have been up, had my coffee, my oatmeal, done my crunches, and am now about to get my second cup of coffee!

I am feeling energetic and raring to go this morning. Also I peeked at the scale this morning (even though it's not my weigh in day) and it was down some, which of course makes me happy happy HAPPY!!

YAY for hard boiled eggs. Last week my husband dropped the carton of eggs, and broke every last one, so I have been eggless for a few day, and it was sad! I like my hard boiled egg in the morning!

I'm thinking I will do the 3 mile walk again today...I am supposed to be alternating 3 miles one day, 1.6 the next, but if I do the 3 miles today, that will be 3 days in a row that I've done it. I can't help it though, it's so beautiful outside!!

Geez can i just say i am really getting ANNOYED with still being in the 270's!

I feel like dang, i've worked out consistently every other day since like feb 27/28 and i know that isn't a long time, but when i read about people who weigh less than me losing 6lbs the first week they started working out it's a big BUMMER!

Like..i'm definitely not frustrated to the point i'm ready to throw in the towel, but i am feeling like when!? When is the scale going to go down!?
According to my scale..my body fat % has gone down and my muscle is up..i know those scales aren't 100% accurate, but i guess the general trend down(&up in muscle) is what is important. I Just want to be out of here for good so when i do fluctuate up it wont be in the high 70's anymore.

Weighed myself yesterday. 273lbs. End of the night i was 276.-That doesn't bug me..fluctuations happen.

Okay i think i'm done venting, it's just getting to me..

Drugz I can understand, I fluctuate up to 4 pounds in a day. I know how frustrating it is to not see the scale go down, but at least your muscle is going up. So you're going to be looking better, even if the stupid numbers stay in the stupid 270's. Can you tell I am not a fan of the 270's? I know I haven't been here long, but I still don't like them!

Do you do any exercise on your non work out days? I walk every single day, 3 miles a day, and I have noticed a real difference in my shape. I usually peek at the scale mid-week, but I am going to try really hard not to this week. I actually don't think the numbers will be going down as much as they have been (3.5-4lbs per week) because I am starting to train for a mini-triathlon, so I will probably be putting on more muscle. So I am going to try and not pay so much attention to the scale for a bit, and concentrate on inches coming off (but i don't mind if pounds take a hike too).

I just found this thread!

I've been trying to get out of the 270s for some time. I did the snail's pace version on purpose, but cracking that number was pure torture.

This morning I am now at 269!!! I know only here is where I will find understanding!!!

But yay....now to slowly inch down to cracking the 260s!!!!

@OhMyDogs..sometimes i do something on my off days. Usually my body needs that day in between l0l. I did walk recently one morning on my off day because it was actually decent outside. I'm hoping to do that more often once the weather stops acting funky.

Drugz We had some pretty nasty (cold cold) weather earlier in the spring, so I completely understand. As well as a VERY cold and miserable winter. It's warmed up now, and I am enjoying every single second, because I have no clue when it may get gold again! LOL

Yay!! That's close!! My official weigh in isn't until Monday, but I stepped on the scale. Stupid TOM has me stuck at 276.4 every single time I step on the scale. Which is up 1.4lbs from my last weigh in. Here's hoping some of it comes off by Monday If not, then I know it will come off by the next monday...blah.
