my wii and my scale both told me i had a major whoosh over night. wii told me 270.1 and the scale told me 270.2 (so i guess they're not joking me unless they had a covert meeting last night)...
260s here i come! (though i'll probably end up here for a while since i won't drop down the ladder until my official friday weigh in, and even then i'll be away for a week for my honeymoon, and when i get back i will likely be in this thread still. i don't foresee a huge loss on my honeymoon haha)
Yay Mandy - that is awesome! (must be the new WATP DVDs)
I weighed in at 274 this morning, so I think my slight stall is over. I also worked out (swam) for an hour yesterday and today. However, yesterday, I went way over calories. I have to learn how to work out hard without feeding all the calories consumed by my body back to it!
The weather here is gorgeous this weekend and this is the time of year that each perfect day might be the last (before it gets too hot/humid). I had all the windows open yesterday. Today I'm at work, catching up on some things and trying to get ready to take over a different job - I'm really excited about it, but a little nervous too. Sad I can't be out to enjoy the day more, but with what I'm preparing for, it is totally worth it!
Hey everyone! I am new to this thread! Ecstatic that I now belong in this thread...but oh so ready to be away from the 270's as well. Officially hit 278 this am
Sorry...disappeared over the weekend. Lots of family in town...yeesh! So, I've been flopping between 271 and 272 these last few days which is FABULOUS news considering I haven't tracked, been to the gym, or drank all my water since last Thursday!
That said - I am happily sitting at 271.8 this morning. Went back to the gym and worked up a good sweat on the treadmill and elliptical machines and am feeling MUCH better now that I'm back OP! (BTW - Had chinese food last night for the first time in months and yaouza, is it killin' my stomach today. Definitely not food poisoning or anything but my tummy is NOT happy with me!)
Mandy -- Great job!! I knew you were going to hit your goal any day now! Yahoo!
Jen -- Congrats on busting through that stall! The weather in California this last weekend was totally weird for us. Lightning and thunderstorms yesterday and it's usually 100 degrees by now. So crazy! How fun to be getting ready for something new at work! I KNOW you're going to rock it!!
Dreamer -- Welcome and hopefully we won't be seeing you for long!!

Jami - glad to hear you thrived with an intentional weekend off-plan and didn't let it derail you - to me, that's part of the whole life-change concept. If we can't enjoy ourselves when it comes to food (in moderation and for special occasions), then there is no way we can sustain this kind of a change long term. Way to go!
Sara - congrats on a TOM loss! Hopefully once it is over, you'll show even more of a loss.
Not too much to report for me, except lots of swimming and decent (if not perfect) eating, and the scale keeps trending down. So all is well. I am hoping to hit the 260s by the beginning of June. It would be a stretch, but a good goal to have. Actually, let me rephrase that - it isn't so important that I hit the number by then, but that I do the things necessary to achieve that (food/exercise-wise).
Up .9 this morning to 272.7. I groaned for about 1/2 a second when I saw it but I'm over it. We went to The Old Spaghetti Factory last night as it was my oldest son's 11th birthday. I made GOOD choices that I could live with and while I was over my calorie goal, I still ended up with a 300 cal deficit for the day. I drank all my water and exercised so I'm happy. There was a ton of sodium (I ended up about 1600mg over!) in the food so hopefully that's what I'm seeing on the scale this morning. No worries though....I've got an OP week ahead of me and I know I'll be seeing smaller numbers this week overall!
(BTW - Their Creamy Pesto salad dressing is freaking YUMMY!!)
Sara -- GREAT loss this week! You are really working your plan...good for you!!!
Jen -- I agree. I decided at the beginning of this that I wasn't going to avoid these tough situations but would make them work for me instead. Like last night...we had a great time. We were in a large room...at least 100 people...and EVERYONE sang Happy Birthday to my son. It was pretty great! The food was so tasty and I ate until I was full...and not one bite more! How can I not be happy with that, even if the scale showed a tiny bump up this morning?
Great job getting all your swimming in! And yes, that downward trend (overtime) is what's really important!
bmi of 39.9 NO LONGER MORBIDLY OBESE! yay! hopefully i can keep it there. ha. with wedding and honeymoon festivities i'll be lucky if i don't climb back up to the 280s thread lol

Woohooo!!! Well done! You look fab in the pictures, clearly shrinking!
When are you getting married? What are you wearing?
Yay Mandy! It is sad to see you go, but strengthens my resolve to get there too! Also your photos first to most recent definitely show a change at this point. So exciting. Enjoy the wedding and honeymoon, you've earned it!
Yay Jamie! You're almost there as well! Glad you had a quick recovery from the celebrations.
I weighed in under 273 this morning (and it's TOM), so I'm pleased with that.
