That is amazing!!!!

And in 8 months? Can you share more about how you're doing it? Are you on a specific plan?

You should feel so proud of yourself!

Gerbies-> I swear I have been trying to get pics updated and put a post in the photo album, but life keeps getting in the way. I started off just changing my eating habits. I was not at the time counting calories, just making better choices, no junk food, no high fat food. I started this on Oct 26,2009 after a horrible experience on vacation with my kids at the beach. By the end of January I had hit a plateau and broke down and purchased a GoWear Fit armband, (same thing as a body bugg, like they wear on The Biggest Loser). With that device I began tracking calories, and every bite I ate. I also quickly realized that the lack of real exercise was not getting the job done. I had done some walking but nothing of substance. I began walking and with the armband I could see the additional calorie burn so it motivated me to keep up the exercising and I have slowly been increasing my intensity and duration since then. I currently do a walk/run intervals of about 3.2 miles 6 days a week. I am hoping to be able to do a 5K in the fall sometime. I also have some hand weights at home that I use to do some strength training with Jillian Michaels DVD's. I recently joined The Y so I could add in some different cardio. Since January I have been fairly steady at averaging about 11 pounds lost a month.

Hope that helps, and I promise to get on the pictures.
