I totally get it, too! Sounds like my son or myself for that matter, except I don't yell in displeasure in public places. Age does smooth off some of the edges of add impulsiveness! But the "oh...a truck!" is totally me.

I don't know, I know plenty of little boys with no issues who do the same thing. Still pretty funny though!

I think it's a guy thing ;-) My hubby does that and he doesn't have ADD or ADHD....well, he doesn't shout in public, but shiny objects sidetrack him easily. I have a truck...LOL!

hehe God, I feel that... my brother has it and even at age 19 he's pretty bad sometimes if he's off his meds (which he has been ever since the end of high school when he no longer had his father's insurance). He can be the hardest worker ever... if you stand there and make sure he doesn't get up in the middle of whatever job he's doing!

The kid is a total little muffin, just adorable and good natured but WOW off the charts lol his mom is awesome and doing everything she can to help him out. I talked to him about what ADHD means to his life etc, and he says (I"M NOT MAKING THIS UP)

"It's ok -- everything's better in HD"

who IS this kid??? LOL I like to save him for later in the day, he always leaves me smiling
