Walked a good bit today - most in several years. Building it up. Also hope to get more walking in with the cooler weather coming.

Default Still at it . . .

Great going ladies! Every little bit helps and what you do is so motivating to me! Thanks for inspiring me!

I walked 3 miles yesterday (Monday) and 2.6 miles today. The batteries in my CD player died so I didn't have my C+C Music Factory motivating music to push me to 3 miles. ( "Gonna Make You Sweat" has got to be some of the best work out music ever).

Also did 3 different weight machines for the arms--2 sets of 10 reps each.

My goal is to walk 5x this week as well.

This is my first time posting my exercising -- maybe it will help me keep it up. I've been doing this for a couple of months now and have gotten to the point that I'm actually looking forward to doing my workout! Yay!

This week I started a 12 week program from a book, "Body Sculpting Bible for Women" -- Monday I did a dumbell routine at home, and I was amazed to find I had muscle soreness the next day. Here I've been lifting weights at least 3 times a week for a while, and all of sudden, with this new routine that doesn't seem much different from the classes I was taking, my glutimus maximus was SORE! Weird. Tuesday, I went to the gym and rode the stationary bike as I read from Lance Armstrong's biography (very inspirational, BTW) -- and interval training program for about 30 minutes. Wednesday another session of weight lifting at the gym. Yesterday I had a lot to do so I didn't really do anything other than some housework. And today I'm heading to the gym for another weight workout.

I've got a long way to go (70-80#?), but I'm so happy to say that I'm starting to feel my muscles -- internally if not through all the fat! -- and my attitude is definitely improving.
