Thanks for the support; it means a lot. She went to sleep very peacefully and quickly. I am starting to get at peace with her passing(very quickly). This may sound odd but I'm glad not to hear her labored breathing anymore

I'm glad you are doing well so far. I can't imagine how you are feeling..My sister's dog is getting older, and I'm just terrified of the day we lose her.

*hugs* peachy. I know what you're going through. I had to put my sweet baby down this past summer. she was 14 and I loved her more than anything. it still hurts and I miss her. just remember though that you and your family did the right thing, and it was out of love. I bet you gave your pup a wonderful life, and she loved you for it. :-)

I still have my dog's pic on my cell phone home screen and her pic on my fridge. I kiss my hand and touch that pic sometimes when I walk by it. lol.
