Today has been a busy day. I had to stop by Moms and wash a load of clothes. Our well will only let us wash one load per day. So I take a load to Moms everyday as well.

I leave here a little early before I go to pick Bailey up from school. I stop and put a load of clothes in to wash, pick Bailey up, then come back and pick them up when they are done washing. I bring them home and dry them.

Well Mom always has supper ready by the time we get back. Today she had fried potatoes, corn bread, fried chicken breast, and corn-meal gravy. OMG! I wanted to eat it so bad. The boys ate a little, but I PASSED!

Mom kept saying “Jo, aren’t you gonna eat?” When I said no, I’d eat when I got home, Dad rolled his eyes at me. LOL. They know Im trying to lose weight, but neither of them have ever had issues with weight, so they dont know how hard it is. I still resisted! I just ate an apple.

They fit! They are really ugly jeans (leftovers from the 1980s) so I won't be wearing them to work or anyplace, but they fit! I was a size 32 until September . . . :D

WOW! Thats fantastic. What plan are you following?

When I put my hands on my hips/waist, I can feel that my back fat is shrinking.

I did 3.13 miles today....

I had a goal of 3.28, I missed my original goal. But, I have decided that I am okay with that, it has been years since I have been able to move that fast but, I did it.... 2 months ago, heck one month I was struggling with getting a little over two miles in....

I am so excited.... and I know that in a couple of weeks - I will be able to reach my original goal and start working towards the next one....

After losing 80 pounds and then over the past few years gaining every one of those pounds back, I am committed to doing this right this time. I have filled my refrigerator with healthy choices, bought a new excercise DVD that I am really excited to start tomorrow, and best of all I have returned to fitday and 3FC for the motivation and success stories that will keep me on track!

This is kind of a non-body NSV, but it feels so good to me...

I *just* found out that my blog is in the running for a Wellsphere health bloggers award. I am just so excited because it feels like I have support in this whole weight loss thing. I feel like people really care about me and my journey.

Lyn,

Your blog is great! You deserve the award. I just read your latest post. You say something in there that I am going to adopt as a motto, "I won't stay fat and be crippled. I won't sit in a chair and watch life go by. I refuse."

Thank you!!!

PS - Thinking about this just gave me the strength to walk right by those donuts in the office!

I don't know if this is a NSV but Tuesday I got a Costco membership card. I showed my license and as I took my picture and it came out the lady remarked that my Costco picture was cute and she said, it's much better than you license picture! What were they thinking of when they took it? I kinda of stammered for a little then told her that I am down almost forty pounds and she said, God bless you! That license picture looks nothing like you! It really doesn't. In my face I am holding what looks like the Hoover Dam. It's not pretty and the first thing on my list, or one of the first things when I lose more weight is to replace that photo! It is horrible!

The bag boy at the local grocery flirted pretty hard with me. I had only two items for purchase and he asked me if I wanted him to take out my basket. LOL I said I only have two items (a small pack of meat a can can of veggies), he said well I can take it out for you anyway and smiled big. :D

My husband noticed that my lingerie gown was too big for me and said that I need to replace it. He kept congratulating me on my los and saying whatever you are doing, it's working! You are on your way. He kept showing me that the straps were falling down, which I knew. Then of course he took it off of me. ;)

My son's teacher, whom I am good friends with, asked me Friday if I was trying to be skinny. I just laughed and said something like that. Thing is she saw me from behind and didn't even know it was me until she heard my voice and was shocked that it was really me!

I have lots of outfits and things I'd love to wear once I shrink! ;) I was thinking that I wasn't going to buy any new clothes until I lose more weight. I sew a lot, so taking things in and altering is how I manage to get more use out of my clothes as I, "downsize". I noticed that some of my dress clothes for work were really starting to look a bit ratty and worn though, so I had to cave in and buy a few new dressy tops yesterday. I bought 22/24 tops at Fashion Bug (usually buy 26/28). I was thinking that if I could shed a few more pounds in the next few weeks, then the shirts would fit just fine, and would be a good goal. I could probably squeeze three more weeks out of the tops I have if I'm creative, right? When I got home, I was absolutely delighted to find out that they all fit just perfect when I tried them on! :) :carrot: It made me do the happy carrot dance! :carrot:
